Default ALTO VXR 2005 engine overhauling

My alto VXR 2005 has been giving blue fumes and drastically reducing oil levels for quite some time now. I was thinking of overhauling the engine. My question is, does over hauling really work? It just seems that once I have a problem in this car and I get it fixed, it comes back again after some time. Secondly, are engine parts readily available in the market for this model. Lastly, what would be the worst-case scenario if I don't get the engine over-hauled? Maybe someone who has gone through a similar experience can answer my queries?

i am not sure if alto carby assembly is available in junkyard
but if it is, its cheaper and quicker/reliable way to deal with this that is if u find a good piece

otherwise rebuild can be done as all parts are available.get good genuine parts
and get it fixed from the right place and person
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

If complete assembly is available then better to go for it in place of overhaul.

I do know a good mechanic. We have been going to him since as long as I can remember. Do you think the engine will stop eating up oil and giving out fumes completely?

if the car is not damaged through overheating
    rebuild should work out easily

overheated engines to point of failure should be thrown out IMO
