    Default Alto hard steering

    Salaam all PakWheelers

    I have alto 2011 model. Milometer is 36000. Some problems occuring while driving in Islamabad i.e. Its sneering vibrates when needle hits at 80-100 then its comes normal, also the steering is too hard for the vehicle. Kindly suggest me a shop or mechanic or 3S dealer and what things to be checked? Pakwheelers plz help in this regard.

    this is very common problem with stock rim.. if you want to solve this , change your stock rim with japanees rim

    Done. Its not vibrating at 80 kmph. Well mechanic said me to replace the bolt with kabuli one which were place under tyre joints. But I didnt allowed him and I stayed with stock bolt.

    BUT I am still facing Hard steering while driving and it comes difficult for me when turning to any side. Any kind of help in this matter????

    i had almost all the issues with 2012 alto
    and it was solved when i changed rims to 660cc japanese alto rims
    no balance issue for almost 1.5 years steering is lighter then before and it never bends

    So bottom line is wheels to be changed to new rims? Thats the problem solver.

    Seems that mechanic is trying to sale his "kabuli" bolts
    btw what is your tyre size?

    May be. Right now I don't remember, but I haven't changed the tyre still running stock tyre. May be you know the default stock size.

    steering with stock tyres is very light.
    I think you must go to any other allignment centre for second opinion.
    Problem is with balancing or suspension.

    Wheel balancing and alignment was done in Sitara market and shop name was "Khan Wheel Balancing & Alignment". Will you please guide me in this matter where to go for second opinion?

    Changing rims to alloy rims will further increase the steering hard.

    Check the condition of your tyres. 36000 is not much but still if the roads you travel on are worn out maybe its time to change the tyres.
    Check steering system boots.
    get your wheel balancing done again.
    Any tyre puncture repair gone wrong?

    If ur running defaults tires then .
    Check steering box
    Axels etc from other mechanic
    Take 2nd opnion as well

    Bro Alto steering is very hard by company, it is made hard so that u can build some muscles without going to gym and save some bucks , mine had the same issue
