Default Help Needed for CVT Fluid - Suzuki Alto Eco (2012) - Jatco CVT7 (JF015E)

I have Suzuki Alto Eco (2012), when bought it was already 28000 KM on odo and now its 40000 KM. I have to change its transmission fluid, on dip stick it is mentioned "Suzuki CVT Fluid Green II". It has Jatco CVT (CVT7 / JF015E). I have searched market (karachi) for the fluid but all the shop keepers tell me to use Toyota CVTF or Zic ATF XP III.

Please help me in finding the right CVT fluid for this type of CVT, not necessarily the suzuki brand, I got to know form internet that Castrol Transmax CVT is compatible with it, but again it is not available in karachi.

Looking for your expertise or experience based reply.

since these Japanese cars having CVT transmissions are flooding in Pak., many oil companies are started producing this CVT oil.
Toyota has it in 4L tin Pack. Imported from Japan. Life is 40~50,000 km
Liqui moly has CVT oil. Cost Rs. 1800/L. But its life is 80,000 km
ZIC has also launched their CVT oil. And its life is 40~50,000 km.

I don't think its necessary to buy from Suzuki. Because Total company is providing oils to Suzuki & Honda.
But you can choose from Toyota, Liqui Moly & ZIC. Depends upon your choice for spending money.

    - fluids shall be changed at OEM recommended interval not what the OIL manufacturer prints over the packing

shopkeeper you are visiting is a collosal moron - next time ask him to show you how many jamaat he passed?

your trans takes a CVT fluid which was made by Idemitsu - and is not sold in Pakistan, the closest you can get to that CVTF is the toyota fluid.

Is there any apparent risk using the Toyota TC CVT Fluid?

In order to get the closest match for this fluid, is it enough to compare the technical properties of the fluid mentioned on data sheet like viscosity index, pour point, flash point, etc?

no. there will not be any.
As xulfiqar bhai said that your car's CVT fluid was made by Idemitsu (Japan). But this oil is not available in Pak.
So you can use Toyota's CVTF which would be the very much liking as per your car manufacturers recommendation.
And you are lucky that Toyota's CVTF is available here and its original and its japan manufacturered.
    Go for toyota's cvtf.

I have a 2013 stingray 70000 I'm driven. It was giving an average of 19 km per litre. I recently changed the transmission oil and used Liqui Moli ATF 1400 Hi TEC, 3.5 idea oil charged but fuel consumption dropped drastically, it's giving hardly 12, recommended oil as per dip stick was CVTF GREEN 2 but ATF 1400 is CVT Green 1. Any guidance please.

Guys I have a suzuki Palette 2012 with K6A engine & CVT.....initially @48000Km my younger brother went to a oil change shop & they poured normal ZIC ATF....until i came to know of it recently & the car is now @58000KM. Th car wasnt giving any issues but I changed it today.
Today I poured Toyota CVTF in it & the engine sound is very less now & everything seems normal.

The mechanic drained the oil by loosening a nut on the chamber below & Lifting the rear on a jack, 3L of oil came out? Is it ok? I mean 3L is all that goes into it?

Any idea that how much the ZIC ATF might have damaged the CVT?
& if the CVT is damaged how can I know it? symptoms?

One more thing is there any transmission OIL filter in it & where?
