    Suzuki alto japnese 660 cc

    i had this car for some time, the car was driven on cng by old owner ( i dont know why would you drive a 660 cc on cng, reatds!!!!)

    i knew i was going to change the engine as it had loads of noises and the car was literally pathetic to drive in the initial 1 -2 gear ( it only consist of 3 gears lol)

    anyways, so i went to shersha bought a kancha engine installed it and it was perfect ( use havoline engine oil and zic gear oil)

    after driving 90 km the engine had some weird noises ( possible pins or crank i dun rmr), so we took the engine out got a new kancha engine installed it and fitted it again new gear oil and tranny oil

    now the engine appeared to be better no noise etc but started with little missing, i ignored it and wanted to get over and done with..

    After driving for few hours, the tranny had some kind of hising noise which eventually turned in to a proper noise, so took the gear out got a new gear and installed it. This time again new gear oil.

    This gear looked okay was driving okay but while braking as soon as thecar stops i used to get a proper jerk that is from 2nd to 1st ( that was the only issue) but i was not happy with that and got another gear, this time the gear shifting was perfect i coudnt even feel it but the car pick was crap, took it down master gear wala in gulshan and he said the car should pick on l that is 1st gear and it doesnt, the gear manually does not shift from 1st to 2nd and it wont do it on manual either ( that is putting the stick down to 2 and then l ( which is 1) )

    khair the shersha wala got annoyed and asked me to return everything back by this time the engine started throwing white smoke in cold start .... Khairrr!!!

    Bare with me please just couple of more line,.... I went to shersha again and got engine with tranny thinking it might be matching sensor fault....the engine is perfect but the car again does not come on l which is 1st gear and this weird thing happen ( it used to happen on the second engine aswel) if i keep on driving it 1st ( if that is working) 2nd and then 3rd, while driving if i put it on 2 ( manually) i feel a jerk that the gear has shifted down and then as soon as i put it in l no jerk nor any change in engine sound which means car is not going in first gear ... After driving for few min i end up getting worst pick and car kinda ghoutna shoro hojati hai and if i stop it put it in p and rev for few seconds and drive it again it works fine again for few min ( same thing happened in 2nd engine and 4th gear box)

    i dont know wtf is happening loosing money left right and center and literally want to burnt the hell out of this stupid car lol, i am going down to get this checked up on computer lets see if any error is recorded, anyone else had this problem with gear shifting ?

    I need help!!!! Professional help !!!

    What "pick" do you expect from a 660cc engine?

    i have 2 other 660 cc engine car lol
    it feels like car is picking up on 2nd not on first and sometime the pick is okay decent enough to drive i am talking about all without AC and on HOBC

    my question is if i put it in L the first gear should work correct and if i put it in 2 after certain speed it should go in 2nd and engine noise changes, but it doesnt same scenario is applied for 2 and D and it works fine.... sometimes a normal inclined road is hard to climb even on a first ( if that is working ) lol

    So basically who ever did the swap messed up things a bit

    What can they mess up in a coupled engine with tranny? ?

    Cant say you should get everything sorted from mechanic who ever did the wirring stuff

    cant it be gearbox wiring ?

    i am fadup, weird symptoms never dealt it before ...

    Check the ECU - make sure it is for the model of your car. Alto comes in many variants, for example, 4 wheel drive, overdrive option. Maybe its the ECU that is causing things to mess up. Get it checked or better still, put in another one and see if the problem goes away.

    So got the car scanned, it is throwing on error code for solenoid valve electrical error ( dont rmr the code). the ecu checks out fine, the car apparently changes gear normally while checking it via the launch device, got it checked from a gear box guy and he said it is not picking up on first gear ( this is what i think as well ) now the problem is if the device is showing gear shifting properly why is there an error code in gear box section, got the wiring checked and no issues. this is one messed up case!!
