    radiator flush something other and engine flush is needed and evenn recommended by experts when changing differnt type oil i.e. Mineral to synthetic or synthetic to mineral ... if the carbon deposis increases than a certain limit it will damage your pistons and atlast when you will flush your engine it wuld become "khokla"

    Which company radiator flush u used?

    Default Alto Aceleration issue

    I bought new Alto VXR (CNG) about two week ago (will post pics soon), previously had Mehran (stock) for 10 years. When i bought the car i could tell instantly that it's pick was quite low compared to Mehran and considering the fact it was 1000cc. I contacted Suzuki AZIM Motors (from where i bought it) he said that "ahista ahista theek ho jay gi", but i am not feeling any difference what so ever.
    Considering my Mehran had done 100k km and twice major accident it's performance was still better.
    I need experts opinion on this as i am really concerned what could possibly be wrong with it ?

    Let the engine run for a few 1000 KM. i have kept Alto for 5 years. Its not the fastest but it is faster than a mehran. Comfortable too, brakes are also much better.

    I agree with the comfort and brakes part but throttle response is horrible, i mean "race dena par gari beth jati hai".
    Also the 1st three gear ratios are quite small, am i right ?

    Are you running on petrol or cng?

    Gear ratios are fine. In its prime age my alto would touch 80 in 2nd. Give your engine sometime to open up

    i bought new alto nd it has horrible petrol avg, 2500 rs ptrol is over in 200 km approx :/

    @funtonight alto engine is build for the cng because inbox air intake of alto is designed to take less air for combustion of cng how ever petrol needs more air air for better combustion of fuel which alto did not get this results in greator fuel consumption....

    How ever try hypermiling technique and avoid assertive driving..

    Alto's accelration is much better than mehran.
    your vehicle just need minor adjustments of mixture.

    i am also having 2006 alto ff cng, uptill now driven about 70,000 km total company maintained by suzuki 3s dealers , all orginal except both bumpers which re-painted 2 years back, compare to mehran yes its comfortable, better breaks, better suspensions , better seats, soft gear shift, with ac engine dont heat up

    BUT

    car pickup far less than mehran, specialy its hard to over take with ac and some times i have to turn off ac at time of rapid acceleration, starting problem ( since new having starting problem i.e if first self miss than cant get started on cng and must have to convert on petrol for starting so i always try best to start on first self have showed car to differnt suzuki dealers but problem still there.

    millage in city with ac 130 km
    on highway with ac with speed 120 km = 110 km
    highway with ac speed 80 km = 180 km
    highway without ac speed 80 km = 200 km

    top speed with petrol 140km ( but drink a lot petrol )
    top speed on cng with ac 120 km

    the bolt from where you drain the oil has slipped. An over sized nut is the solution? after putting the over size thread. my alto oil chamber( oil pan) leaked. is any one have experience about this matter.
