    mechanic told me tht putting spacer or gutkas..ruin its balance, right?

    yes it does atleast in jdm cars we seen
    btw vitz or passo ka spring try karo
    see the spring with equal no of turns in it with different height

    i don't know technicalities of engine thats why can't continue the debate more..

    What ever the engine is its highly cng efficient, highly reliable, acceptably powerfull and cheap infact dirt cheap to mentain ...( my 5 years experience )

    one thing different from potohar is that altos engine is revvy
    mine redlines above 7k rpm and sounds different too

    so my friends in punjab and isb with alto
    recently i also experienced 0 cng availability in peshawar
    and before that i got her tuned from 3s and mechnic knowing me what i want (speed) he did changed CNG and petrol setting
    petrol from screw in carb
    so 2 days later i thought will fill her up but no cng and pumps with low pressure and big lines so drove it on petrol and it just drank petrol like a v8
    i observed idle speed was 1000rpm mark as he messed with settings and it was giving me 8kml without a/c
    so took a screw driver in my uni parking adjusted idle on petrol screw is on back side of carb and really hard to see
    now idle brought down to 650rpm but if u got no rpm in alto adjust it to a point where engine starts vibration on idle but it won't turn off
    and drove it again and in local avg went up to 13 14ish on mix driving hard foot in local
    so do that ASAP
    and also change jet to mehran jet in carb and idle settings 650 or 600 rpm same that point when car is about to turn off but it wont a little vibration
    AVG goes up

    air filter well it depends on city
    and well on oem setting alto suck big time just a good fornothing fuel guzzler
    im geeting good cng avg too with this setting
