Default power steering in alto vxr

Dear guys I have recently bought Alto VXR which is brandnew besides many other things I dont like its steering which is non powered although it is a small car but the steering needs efforts. So Iwant to convert its manual steering to power so kindly give comments/its possibility etc with pros and cons.

Today you are talking about power steering.. next time you will be asking for good brakes so my serious opinion is better sell it out and get vitz with genuine power steering and abs brakes and get yourself free of all intricaies involved.

I also have an Alto VXR. I think there is no need for power steering as the car is not very heavy and it steers well even when leden. Other wise SUZUKI is SUZUKI and it can not be a VITz or CITY

    good decision,
new one will cost around Rs.6000 - 10,000
used one may be less than Rs.5,000

A Power steering pump will be afixed into your engine and Power steering oil and its cane will be installed with a power pipe.let me tell you suzuki car steering will never function well ever inspite all your efforts.

well the guy asked a question, ans some one is suggesting to change the car... please yaar if you have somethign related to his question than help otherwise dont say anything.... it was just my observation soplease no hard feelings...

and as far as your question is related, yes its totally possible and without any major modification... japanese alto, came in this shape, you might get its full system, and as it is somewhat bolt on so no major reliability concerns too...thanks
its all about power to weight ratio...

Well personally I think if power steering is installed, you will have some problems in the long run. As for the stiffness currently in the steering...dont worry it will go away within sometime and by then you will get used to it. I think Alto drive is not that bad.

Keep the car with its original specifications.

Here is what you need : https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/mem...vxr-cng-2007-a

This guy has been there, done that, and has one of the best possible upgrades to his Alto I've seen on this website.

Plus he's a nice guy, and he'll guide you very nicely.
