i get my alto vxr tunned wenever it starts 2 give problems doesnt matter 1000km or 10000km! wenever u feel tht it aint running well tht means time for tuning!there is no fix period for tuning!but oil/oil filter shud be changed every 5,000km unless ur using a good quality oil such as mobil1 or shell ultra!u can use tht oil for 12,000km easily as long as u change ur oil filter after every 5,000km n use a good quality oil filter!

I have Alto VXR 2006. The time for the tunning is 5000 km when you must change its oil, filter and get it tuned up. Also the starting problem is due to the Tepids. After every 10000 kms it will automatically come up because due to running of the vehicle the tepids get losened and car start to get long self. and after a few 100 kms it becomes difficult to start. This a common problem with Non EFi cars. Get it tunned and get the Tepids adjusted. It will be oky. Also try to get tunning from Suzuki Authorized Dealers they set up car very good.
