    is it possible to install a Turbo in Suzuki Alto ?

    just the usual stuff...
    intake, hearders, 2.2 inch piping, plugs, wires, accel coil.
    thats the basic stuff we had on...then tried other stuff like changing the carb (switched to a lancer piston type carb)...the car ran real good for about 2 days then it started giving problems so we went back to stock carb...got the engine bored...and then the tune up stuff...thats about it.
    if i had as much Knowledge that i have today...then i wouldve surely fed it some n2o.

    ne ways... whats yr buget? how money u can spend to make yr car faster?

    he`s not even willing to take out CNG from it ...let alone feeding it with n20 or getting the engine bored..

    budget is no problem. but it should be worth what we are going to do and yes but i dnt want to swap the engine. now please advice.

    have already done the followings:
    NGK iridium plugs / 10.2 mm wires / diamond oil filled heavy duty coil / oil breather / headers n downpiping with only one muffler (direct obvious) .

    i m currectly using formula frm caltex.

    was expecting the same funny advice from you
    aaaaah whn u guys will b grown up

    this is the car on which i need to get experiments upon, this is the cheapest car i have n best one to travel in the congested city areas too i know as i have mentioned earlier k cng cylinder means a person weight ! but still we can improve the performance or cant we , or cant you ????
    i hope any one else (matured minded) will give some advices to improve the performance as i did some modifications and it is doing well than before. but was expecting the serious advices thats why i asked the question.

    plz upgrade your lower thoughts and give reasonable advice if some one is asking if u cant (as i know now) thn better.... to keep .... u know what i want to say

    Sir g , there is a general rule of thumb ,
    economy and performance can not go along , u`ll have to sacrifice on thing for another ....
    And why bother doing experiments with your daily driven car , if u want a fast car , buy an old charade, honda , starlet or a swift and depending upon your budget there will be lots of engine swap options...
    keep your alto for your daily needs and for occasional fun use the project car...!!!
    i hope you have understood this serious advice

    @ lower
    if that is general rule of your thumb then how come it is good in performing when i changed the plugs / plugs wires / exhaust headers and coil ??
    would u mind to answer ??

    @nadeem
    on patrol , these things may feel like they have done some thing , max may be 1HP gain or so . While on cng it`ll make next to no difference , and the feeling you are getting in increase in pick or something is just the feeling of justification of the moeny u have spend.
    I had a khyber a while back , did alot of things with it , then got it cng`d , and added some more stuff ( intake , plugs etc ) , sure it felt like it was quick but at the time when i was selling the car i took all the things out , the performance i felt was much better ..

    Sold the khyber , got a Cng 97 honda for the family. Waited for a while to collecte money , bought a swift with G16b got a bigger carb, and a few things, and feeding it now with NOS ,so its pretty quick for my needs ...
    waiting for moaks d15 turbo to get on the road so we can have a friendly check now

    so nadeem i hope i explained my point now ...above posts were just a part of fun , never meant to annoy u or something....

    yar come on man he is asking for turbo so stick to topic stop giving him ur point of view................... i knw a guy in lahore who has installed turbo in his alto and still also drive it on cng..........its a yellow alto wid black hood bt dnt the method he used in doing so as i knw him by some reference..........

    sorry i dont agree with that k i m feeling the difference just that i spent a money to upgrade !
    example :
    before upgrading my alto was never touch 90 km in 2nd gear , (no matter how much you pull n pull but it didnt) , after upgrading it is touching 90 km in 2nd gear easily.
    so i think this is not just the feeling of spending money ! or u still say that so ??

    more over , it never touched 145 before upgrading after upgrading it is touching 145 with no problem ! is it just the feeling ??

    no way !

    any how thanks for the advice and just a short intro of myself here, i m n exporter of hand made garments and a landlord too. but for sure not use dad's money
    have enough myself alhamdoLILLAH.

    totally possible if u can find a small enogh turbo!
    but u better change the engine to 1300 cc may be from liana and change the suspension too...

    @raffay

    before this car which i had now...i had a g13b dohc...with turbo....u cant fit a turbo with cng...........never possible

    even when u convert a car on cng ...they reduce the flow of cng by half because gas require less air for burning

    the guy whos giving u advise is very true

    when u run car on petrol...yr engine temperature is between 200 to 300 degree...and when on cng its between 800 to 900.....

    so day by day yr car performance will loss...as all hp produced by yr car will not be utilized

    plus never swap....if wana get big engine...then swap in cars like khyber,cultus,honda,charde

    get n20...but still u have to get cng off....

    and listen by adding turbo with low psi yr car petrol milage will be batter......my car added up about 5 kilometer per liter but thats only in case when u kleep yr car at low rpm under 80km/h

    u think touching 90 in second gear is great thing........

    lolz if u have a 6 gear transmission with same car...it will give u even 75km in 2nd gear...but still u will have same output

    i m not thinking touching that 90km in 2nd gear is a nice thing , please re-read the comments i posted and u will know that i was telling the performance enhancements i got after upgrading !

    u r telling about adding a turbo (as the topic i started here is the same) which turbo ? for alto ?
