    we;; hids use less power than the nomral bulbs so thats not an issue,now the sound system, well if the car is running all the power is coming form the alternator.. so i think you wont be having an issue on that also, but if you head light dims on heavy base than big battery wont even solve that, you will be needing a capacitor or something like that..

    i think that alto comes with 36AH battery, well i step upto 45 i guess, and you will be fine.. and i have my good experiences with all these local made batteries( by this i dont mean the batteries reconditioned at a hoem scale factory), brands like ags, volta etc etc.
    cheers
    its all about power to weight ratio...

    Maintenance Free Battery by Hankook are very good. but i doubt that they are available in 55 amps. I checked market for maximum amps available in maintenance-free battery and all i could get was maximum 36-38-40amps.

    I've been using YUASA maintenance free batteries for almost last 7 years, currently have 45 amp ( in two cars ) and 65 Amp ( in one car ).

    They are good with their power as the volts are always constant, not like local batteries....

    they are good for 3 years...

    u can get in khi from pechs near bashir autos & a/c shops
    i will suggest u to go for 90 amp. maintenance free battery whether of Yuasa or Hankook
    if it is costly on your pocket then go for 60 amperes
    almost all amperes are avilable in all brands
    Drive carefully,someone is waiting for u

    @speedgear2
    you can get it from melody market. take a left at the first street after the PSI pump and go straight. the first battery shop on your left stocks them.

    @farazgenius
    it is pronounced "you aas a" not "you ess ay". they are (i think) taiwani (can't remember even though i have them in all my jap cars now). they are available in most popular sizes, but not sure where in KHI.

    can anyone tell me if the high and low ampere has any impact on electrical working of car. whether using high ampere has positive or negative effect on the working of car. i think everything should be used according to specifications as enshrined in the manual. please comment on it.

    kuch farq nahin parhta ziada ampere se... got it... wht ever the ampere is... but volt should be same... it must not exceeded... wht evr the ampere increases... no problem.. but should not decrease in amperes... but remember 1 thing tht is the chrger which is assembled in ur car can easily chrge tht battery which u r purchasing... i thing u must not go more thn 95 ampere up... i heard the not normal car charger can charge max for 120 ampere battery... but my suggestion... not go for the max... always use any electrical or mechanical equipment for its 80%... not go for full...

    The amperes marked on a battery are the maximum it can provide. It's not the only amperage the battery will provide. All the electronic equipment draw current from the battery according to their requirements (auqaat). So keep minimum level in mind and also the alternators' supply current since a battery with higher Amp rating would require more time to charge or a more powerful alternator.
