    Both alto and cultus are no value for money, down to earth assembling quality, carburated engines, no safety, nothing, just resale value.
    After two years of use, the car can hardly carry on it's own weight and it feels like its falling apart, bumpers dangling, sounds coming from all parts........

    i own an alto VXR 2004. i bought the car brand new and it has 42,000km now. the car has very poor road grip and bad fuel average (10-11km/litre with ac). now i am using with cng so its not that bad. also the suspension is very delicate and it vibrates and rattles on rough roads.

    i think chevrolet exclusive or santro is better both with the build quality and fuel average.

    man i own a 2004 alto vxr. man....its a pretty rattling car...like when it drives on bumpy roads, funny rattling strange sounds come from inside the dash or sumfin and its really annoying. when we turn the AC on it sounds like as if we just turned the vacuum cleaner on. but alto has a good shape. better shape than cultus.

    Shahid Zahoor,
    I have used an Alto VXR CNG. Its a good car for its price - good fuel economy, easily available parts, good resale, good performance on CNG (even with AC). Regards.

    @shahidzahoor

    yes one more comment!!
    altos engine is very noisy under hard acceleration especially with the ac turned on. cant possibly have a comfortable conversation when accelerating hard.

    only plus is that the engine feels torquey on petrol, even with the ac turned on. however doesnt feel too peppy on cng.

    The only thing it can give u is resale and thats it, Car itself is neither comfortable nor reliable.

    A friend just got one and the fuse box of his car stops giving current and car stops with no apparent reaosn, then u move a few hands around the fuse box and if u r lucky it will start again. Dealership has tried to fix the problem three times and are now giving golis only.

    @mazher, @spectra

    I dont know why u people (and many others) are so much against Suzuki cars. They are not bad - I am using Alto VXR CNG for almost three years, and not a single problem has ever occured. The car is reliable and comfortable. No particular engine noise as mazher says. Regards.

    expereinces and perceptions are different for everyone. We had exact same expereince. U r lucky that your suzuki is running fine.
    Also, Try Buying Genuine parts for Alto or Cultus. they are as expansive as Toyota Corolla, Honda or any other Bigger car.
