Default Alto VXR ...ok guys lets talk

Read lots n lots of people talking about alto vxr good points bad points...recently was going through a purchase decision and was confused either to buy a new car or old car. Had 6 lac 50 thousand budget and options in new cars were Alto Santro Cuore. Rest Cherry QQ and Joy not in my choice list coz they have almost none resale value whatsoever. So now Cuore is very small but heard lots of good things about it but in the end it fell out of the list coz of its size just ! and Santro...well i love santro ...but guys resale value and after sale service ! duh dun ask...in isb its bad really bad... so left wid alto...now alto has nothing to give except the name of SUZUKI after sale service and party availabilty and resale value.. i really dint wanted to buy Alto but keeping in mind good and bad points i ordered one today wid petrol only model coz i dun like CNG. I know u guys gona say its brakes suck, it has no aala functions in it bla bla... but i want u guys to say good things about alto now lol as u know i have given away 6 lac 53 thousand rupees just today .. Now guys will say 6 lac 50 ma tho vitz b ajati ha and even honda city 2001 model wali shape etc etc...but guys...new car! sochoo new car !! The point is u have to agree wid me that i made a right decision ? aint i?

Alto VXR in Petrol, Best choice in this budget.

I just sold my 2007 alto vxr petrol last month. Only reason was my requirment of a big car. If you dont have a big family and have to travel within city, then it is the best choice in this budget.

A new zero meter car is much much better than a second hand car .

All the best for the buy

You have already paid for Alto so I wish you good luck for this purchase. Suzuki has all the successful factors like (good-resale, availability of parts, 3S country-wide dealers, plenty of mechanics to adjust the major problems of Suzuki vehicles also) but still, I feel that Luxury, Comfort, Look & Feel of a car are modern ingredients that everybody is looking for now. Alto lacks in all these areas. Well, choice is your but still I think that Joy was a far better option than Alto because, it has all the ingredients missing in Alto + its parts are also available now and one more thing about Joy is: Its customer line is increasing day by day. I can see many Joys on roads these days and the only missing factor in Joy: Re-Sale, will shoot in coming years, I am sure.

Anyways, this is my perception and I wish you very good luck to enjoy your ride. (Y)

well suzuki only has resale and thats it

its braking is very bad.....actually suspensions r so soft..on hard braking they touch car body which jam the tyres and results in an acident or incident

thats why it is the second car in pakistan among most accidents happening now a days

yes u can also get batter fuel economy on CNG

and its parts r expensive as compare to the cars provided by suzuki

alto vxr breaks r not bad at all, they r fine..

and u can make it a lot more better by putting japanise alto eps( electronic power starring) in it . it will cost u 5k and u can also convert it in power windows, central locking and power side mirrors in additional 12k totaly original of japanise alto.

in this way it will be much better then its compititors.. like coure , santro and joy..

and if u run it in petrol it will be like new allways...

i have 2001 alto petrol with original japanise eps and fully power pack. and it is very comfortable and plasure to drive..,

Best of luck with the purchase. Allah bless u with your new ride. just respect what u r riding.

well Alto VXR, i have been a proud owner of Alto VXR CNG for the last 7 years and drove like 150k KM and for the last one month as it is getting hot, need to change the head gas kit.

I took the Alto to a trip to Shogran, Khagan and Naran and back, superb service. what to talk abt brakes, they are just fine and there had never been problem with brakes by the grace of Allah in aukward situation as well. but i have seen more hondas and corolas with from and rear hit than Alto. what you need is to change tires with 165 same profile and you will feel the differnce and road grip. dont go beyond 165 or trouble.

maintenance is a must. oil filter and air filter with every oil change and enjoy the ride.

@ deedee. thanks for wishes bro. i agree wid ur comment of brakes i tried by frend vxr and its not dat bad...but tell me more about tyre size and company. like i am planning to change tires only immediatly on the same day my car gets delivered. can u tell me the complete profile and company name which fits and looks the best and dont affect the consumption also.. the tyre guy said he will buy these tyres for 6500 ruppes which come from company and will cost me like 4 more thousand added to get some other company tyres. i need tyres which remain inside the body line of the tyre and dont look bad but dont even look slim too.... i hope u got my point

Bhai mere that new Alto of yours will get screwed much quicker than a 2000 model vitz..and will be obviously of FAR lesser quality..I have had 3 experiences now,one frend purchasing brand new alto and some relatives purchasing 2 brand new mehran..With in a year all three cars were screwed, sounds from here and there, engine problems, mechanical faults...etc..et..and my vitz is perfectly fine which is a 2002 model.

@devilzmafia. yup sure bro vitz is a very good car i agree. but tel me one thing. on basis of 2 attributes

    1. the people who drove those suzukis drove like the way u drive ur vitz? i mean maintainence and running on the same roads as u did? changing oil filters etc at the same time as u do?

    2. When u khudanakhuasta wreck ur car and u want to replace any body part of ur car at what shop do u go to replace that? i mean is there any vitz workshop available?

    @syzuhair
you should keep the same rim and same profile or if u were actually on 100km speed, meter will show 110 or 90.

so the profile is same only the tyre width should be 165. original its 145 general tyre. i am using 165 for the last 7 years. initialy i bought good year. now bridgeston sport 450. happy with the deal. for Rs. 10k you will get good tyres.

165 will remain inside the body and not too slim or wide.

Alto is my first love and my second love is unimog

dear how can you compare apples n oranges. they both have there own taste.

vitzs is japanese and alto is pakistani. again its all depend on the user of the ride. you have to show respect to the ur car.

bro dont worry be happy. sab batain hain.
on launching of Alto everyone criticise it and now you have seen the population and resale.

as i always at a driving seat so cant say abt back but i have asked my family now (as they have never complained this before) and they are saying its fine. Alto got good suspension.
