Any idea how long it takes for one to travel from ISB to Hunza via babusar.
We will be traveling with family so what would be suitable stopover in between? i was planning for stopping at naran when coming from isb and then next day from naran to gilgit or hunza. Any other advise family should be cautious of?
Depends on overall rush. Below are expected time durations:
Islamabad to Naran --> It took me 6.5 hours with 1 stopover for lunch and fuelingNaran to Babusar --> almost 3 hoursBabusar to Chilas--> 1.5 hoursChilas to Raikot --> 1.5 hours Raikot to Gilgit --> 1.5 hours Gilgit to Hunza --> 1.5 hours
Can any one confirm the current status, is it open for cars?
thanks,
Are you sure? Because I just found out from a person who came back from naran a few days back and he said that even burwai village road was not yet open.
