    I will never recommend you to use of silicon,its better to use original chamber packing and replace the oil seal with new one.

    I faced exactly the same problem with my baleno, solution was brake oil changed (go for brand Sekan)

    Also if you can afford go for genuine brake pads, but changing brake oil will solve most problems.

    The old oil with moisture absorbed the pressure is not transmitted to brake pads evenly on discs causing this sound.

    Brakes are fine but now i can hear a whistle like sound when i apply light brake. can anyone tell me about it?? will it go with time???

    means brake oil never changed. Go to some expert mechanic (not everyone can do) and bleed all four brakes and put in fresh Sekan oil.

    Brother,only ring change could not resolve this problem,a complete proper engine overhaul is required to resolve this problem permanently.

    Default Coil replacement

    Assalam-o-Alaikum PW Brothers,

    I own a FF CNG Baleno JXR 2005 and this thread has been very helpful for me. I am planning to change my cars coils as they are leaking current and also giving patakha. Mechanic suggests to install side coils of older balenos with mods. I am confused about installing side coils because as per my knowledge, coils are installed on engine head in baleno 2005. Please advise as i am very much confused and do not want to spoil my car value.

    Go for side coils, trouble free and better performance. There is small change in wiring and if you go to some expert electrician he will leave the connectors and wires for top coils as such so if you want to revert back to top coils you can do so without any change in wiring.

    IMO, you have to change two things;

    1- your mechanic
    2- car's coils. for that you can buy chinese coils for as low as 3000 per piece. My car's 1 coil was leaking current and i bought this chinese coil for 3000. its been almost 8 months and the car has no issues at all.

    I am not much in favor of Kaabli coils because once i bought these from chah sultan but those were faulty ones.. replaced...but still the other pair was leaking current.
    if you are going for kaabli pair then better take your electrician with you who could check the coils on the spot and find a functional set.

    shopkeepers are selling the chinese coils as japanies ones.. i bought from a close relative who has a shop in khadda market. he told that these are actually the chinese ones but are perfect.. without any complaints.
