    AOA Guys,

I've a swapped G15A in my khyber its pretty similar to baleno's engine essentially its almost the same. Anyways my problem is the fuel mileage. I was getting around 16.3-16.4 kmpl with the old fuel filter which I was using with simota air filter. The old fuel filter was clogged so got it changed and also shifted from the simota air filter to cultus's efi air filter. I was expecting the mileage to increase but funnily enough my mileage now is around 14.8-15 kmpl. This is too much considering that I've also changed the sports type air filter. Any ideas why this might be.

Got the new fuel filter for 2.5k its not OEM but its Japanese or so it seems. The pics shows that the fuel filter needed to be changed:

Wonder if you read my query! 14.8-15 kmpl is really good yes but I was getting more before the new fuel pump (thanks for the correction) and a rather open air filter. Anyways forgot to mention its the highway mileage and people with the same swap are getting around 18 kmpl. So I can't understand why am I getting low mileage with the new fuel pump.

    Regards

highlighted part in pic I posted above is boot. You can pull it carefully. Please do it when car is cold to avoid any damage to boots when pulling.

You can buy new boots and wires if issue resolved. Easily available in market. Also don't buy from junkyard as mostly wires available there are already damaged/leaked. You can't judge by inspecting visually.

this leakage is why you are supposed to use "dielectric grease" on the boots

These bulbs were available in Karachi co-operative market for Rs 2/piece. Make sure to buy 12V bulbs.

Hybrid Both these mileages have been calculated with the same driving style. So I doubt its because of that variation.

I totally agree with you the mileage is pretty good. Its just that with a shitty fuel pump and the simota air filter I was getting more compared to the new fuel pump and a closed box air filter and furthermore people with same setup are getting more mileage.

Top up the tank, travel some kms now again top up the tank. Divide the kms traveled by the litres of petrol added during the new top up.

Use resisters for LEDs or use high power LEDs.
LED cares for current not volt. Car battery have high AMP and will blown up LED instantly.

    Car battery when fully charged + Engine running = 13.4 V to 14 V

    To make it simple:
When you buy LED - you will find its specs like 3.3V at 20mA (3.3 is LED voltage and 20mA is LED forward current)
    And source is 14V

    calculate the resister u need

    Resister = Voltage(source) - Voltage(LED/Forward Vlotage) / Current

confirm the formula on google please.

    Hope u r clear now

    please note that when u connect LED in series than u need to sum the voltage - 3.3 + 3.3 + 3.3 + 3.3 = 13.2 V

these are convex leds that are useless for any car decoration purpose because they dont disperse rather focus only at 1 point
