Dear All,
I'm surprised at the outclassed petrol average of my Baleno 2001 (G13B), I filled Rs. 4000/- Petrol (CNG was not available) for driving from Karachi to Khairpur Mirs (438km). The car consumed almost 23 - 25 litres of petrol averaging (18-19km/L driven on very light foot @ 80-90km/h) which is amazing for a 1300cc car isn't it? Please correct me if I'm wrong...
But when I reached Khairpur I observed some oil in the radiator (The car did not heat up throughout), considering the gaskit is gone took the car to mechanic he opened the head and showed me this was due to 2 screws of the head being loosened. He recommended me to change the gaskit so he replaced the gaskit with a cultus efi gaskit (is it recommended?) there is no oil in the radiator now but I have been observing that water is dropping at snail's pace (Just tip....tip even when the car is warm or cool) from the back side of engine where the self-starter is located (Just above it unable to see the exact point). None is able to figure out where the water is coming from as the drops are very little the mechanic has pasted almost 8 packs of Magic solution but of no use...What is the issue please suggest...The Spare Bottle Becomes Half after a 100km drive...
Moreover, The AC compressor is not turning on I have checked all the connections...plz suggests...
Regards,
Muhammad Faheem
