You can say but you see even most side coils are directly attched to the side of engine. Yes they usually prove to be better than top mounted coils but still bit less reliable than distributor coild that are usually mounted on walls of engine bay....laslty again foucusing on point that reliability does not directly means performance. Wasted spark systems are way ahead than distributed spark systems when it come to performance....

Well bro I think the problem with head coils is nothing but mechanic playing round I have seen some stupid 2nzfe coils altered and putted on liana and it looked quite stupid I means joints of the coils felt could weak so why moisture didn't effect those coils two liana in family both didn't had coils issue (one long gone through)

Though generally wasted spark systems deliver excellent all speed performance compared to distributors but in local cars their coils have proved to be more prone to faults/damage. Distributors sometimes even prove to be more reliable than coil on plug setup. The basic reason of reliability of distributors compared to coil on plug and wased spark is that in distributor's coil is usually mounted away from engine preventing it from effects of severe heating and cooling which both other setups usually have to face because of coils being mounted directly onto the engine. Moisture getting in distributor when engine is cold and washed is one of the few points where distributors prove to be less reliable than other two systems.
    well explained bro!

but what i felt myself is that atleast i never had to give a second time key turn in my liana as it is always half self start Mashallah..although alto vxr too never gavr any issues but during rainy and damp conditions, it usually needed a dry first to start

After 1000km I observed oil reduction. Car is not emitting any smoke and there is no leakage either. I drained all the oil today and observed that 1/2 liter was reduced. What could be reason for this oil reduction? I suspect fake oil.
    Dear Anc,

whenever you change the company, usually your car will reduce the oil, but 1-2 litre is very increased amount. I don't have any experience about Valvoline. but I will suggest to use Havoline.

The cars you mentioned currently have Coil on Plug system means seperate coil for every plug.

    Dear Friends,

I live in lahore and own a Baleno 2005 Model since two years. Currently i am facing an issue and want you guys to help me on this. Car drives smooth on CNG (when available) but gives higher rpm 2 or 2.5 on petrol. After lifting pedel it comes to 1 after 10 seconds but it remains on 2 which causes jolts and sometimes smooth. I have visited my mechanic and he says that the round accelerator firki where the accelerator wire is attached on the throttle body has some play in it which is causing the jolts plus isnt allowing him to further reduce or set the rpm.

I just wanted to confirm if what the mechanic has diagonized is right? If yes, than where in Lahore can i get a sensible kharaadia who can solve this issue as my mechanic's kharadia is not so expert in this problem.

Looking forward for your responses on this.

    Adnan
