Dani bhai I agree, i bought this car in 2005 and till now it was fine .. i really enjoyed this car to the limits Mashallah never had any issues ... i always try my best to keep it maintain but now its giving me problems on daily basis ... n abt mechanic .. i ve never ever found any one nice except one or two persons ..u r right actually its a good car but mechanics ( chote as well ustaad )here are not may be educated enough to detect efi engine problems'...thanks anyway

Wish you were here at karachi and i'll find you a person who is undoubtly gem of a person when it comes to trouble shooting. What exactly is your problem. You may PM "Xulfiqar" and tell him your problem. He will definately find you a solution. Bostupthecar (Shahzi Bhai) also, always come up with good advises.

I hear a clicking (Tak tak tak) sound when I brake, from the rear. Im assuming its something to do with the brake (shoe and/or setting). Brake oil level has NOT gone down.

    What could it be ?

bearing are faulty when car is making roaring sounds and when there is play in wheels then chimtas and ends are faulty never go to these 3s dealers bohat expensive hotay hain.i will suggest there is a shop in gawalmandi named saeed brothers they are expert in big cars and the biggest shop in town.so wahan say check ker lain.suspension main risk na hi lain its dangerous.

First of all thanks and best wishes for gr8 work you are putting in here.

I just purchased Baleno JXR 2003 few months back from my uncle. This is my first Ride, I used to drive motor bikes be4 and still love them though.
My uncle used to drive this baleno without any problem, but I am facing some problems.

    1. When starts in morning, and give some accelration it sounds screetchy noise but when to put on road, noise goes off and same kind of noise happens when I U turn in full cut. Is it becuase of some belt settings or I need to change some kinda belt??
    2. When I applied brakes and in 1st gear, need to get it going again specially on traffic signals, I have to put a bit of accelartor otherwise car dies down and need to put self again. should I need to get my RPM rechecked or just goes with this problem as it is normal in Baleno and put RPM high on 1st gear??
    3. Average on CNG is really low, my friend said that he gets 150 KM in city and 180 KM on highway on full cylender on his XLI 2007 but I only gets 95-100 KM in city didnt check it on highway yet. My freinds told me to change the plugs, I have got standard Denso plugs for baleno today and will get it changed very soon, will fuel average on CNG problem be resolved by changing plugs?? I used to drive from home to office and the road is full of rush and car hardly goes to 3rd gear, mostly on 1st and 2nd gear. And you can understand the traffic in Lahore in day timings, car rarely kisses 3rd gear.
    4. by the way the 4 Denso plugs are for Rs. 520, 130 each, are they genuine?? though I got it from good dealer from Mantogomery Road, Lahore.
    Thanks in advance..

    Asif
due to dust and heat belts become hard and become tight so make noise due to friction on pulley apply some grease or if they are old change them.your average is good dont disturb it and baleno main 2rpm tak raise daini hoti hay its normal other wise car band honay ki koshish kerti hay but its not a big deal u will get use to.yeah denso plugs geniun hi hoon gey waisay main ney 150 each purchase kerta hoon aap ko sasta mil gaya.best of luck

yaar if u live in pindi i will suggest triple aaa in sadar at station road there is a man aslam he had a lot of knowledge of new generation cars baleno is nothing in front of him.so enjoy ur ride becaz baleno is the best but not mechanic friendly.....

Thanks Baleno Master for your answers.
I had to get clutch and pressure plates changed due to low pick. My mechanic fixed all the problems including radiator service and tuning stuff. Yeah it cost me some but now its working like awesome.
I have one more question, do you know the stock speakers comes with Baleno JXR 2003, I mean which brand.

@Hasan! Bro I had the same problem last year. My wheel had some play. So the mechanic suggested it's bearing problem which was true. But when removed the bearing from Hub assembly to put the new one, he found that hub assembly was also damaged. The broken bearing if not changed for some time may affect the hub assembly. Since I changed both bearing and Hub assembly it costed me something like 3000... don't remember exactly.... but i'm in karachi n' it was about an year ago... don't know the current prices!!

@trankulizer...have you checked the brake oil? secondly check your callipers...
@ toxicguy...check the air inlet amount...is there any obstacle installed rite next to Air filter? if not then place some obstacle to decrease air intake as CNG requires less compared to patrol...if it is there then it may be damaged....
Secondly also check your plug wires...
