    Default Baleno rpm proplem

I have a baleno 1.3 1998 engine type: G13BB. RPM falls down when i press the brake and the light the rpm just falls down way too low and the car starts to vibrate.

when i increase the rpm regulator its down again ???

    2-
I had replaced spark plugs with NGK BKR6E-11. The fuel economy has gone down dramatically after this change. The plugs I was using earlier were NGK BKR6E-11 and then the mileage has now gone down. Now I am thinking to change them again. Could you help me out whether I should go

    1. RPM down when applying brakes is due to engine vaccum and is not a problem.

    2. The plugs you are using have 1.1mm air gap. The more the gap, the higher will be the acceleration but reduced fuel economy. Try using NGK BKR6E or Denso K20PR-U. Both have 0.8mm air gap and also are recommended spark plugs for Baleno.

The recommended plug gap for baleno is 1.0mm. However, you can safely reduce gap to 0.8mm to conserve more fuel. You are running car on petrol or CNG??

Power brakes work off engine vacuum and can sometimes cause a slight variation in engine RPM due to the small, temporary vacuum drop in the engine when you hit the brakes. It's usually a very small RPM change, but it can sometimes be enough of a variation to notice.

get ur cars throtle body cleaned, a proper tuning this mite help u alot. secondly major vibration on the steering can b because of engine mounts.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Go for 0.8mm gap and you will see much difference in fuel consumption. You can also get your spark plugs side gapped for better acceleration and fuel economy.

yaar dani yahi tu mai keh raha ho k normally RPM drop bht kam hota hy lkn agr car itni ziada missing kry k bilkul off ho jae tu that means that there is a problem...now what could it be...what is the corrective action that must be taken to solve this issue...and just for reminder that this issue is only on CNG running, on petrol car is perfectly fine.

@ chinyoti....bhai jee throttle body one week phly saaf kerwai hy and yeah that works...before cleaning the throttle the car was missing on petrol as well as CNG (in running or idol condition) but after cleaning petrol missing problem is resolved but CNG related problem almost remain the same

Baleno major reason for rpm drop is due to idle air controll valve improper adjustment if u adjust iacv more' than more air bypass from butterfly and low vacumm in intake manifold plus poorbreaking due to less vacumm and low power of engine due to excessive air and jhatkas on second gear .iacv is adjustable by its two screws loosing or clean iacv.
