    Question Baleno Headlight Assembly problem

Hello friends, I have Suzuki Baleno 2005 JXL. I am have problem with headlight for past few days and lights automatically switch off and then turn on by itself, indicators are working fine. I took it for check-up at Suzuki dealer and they are saying the the problem is with assembly (the part under steering) which can't be repaired and i need to change it which will cost around 15000 Rs.

Can someone guide me if their are any mechanics/electricians in Karachi who can fix it. And also if i have to get it replace is it really going to cost 15000 Rs?

    Regards
    Zafar

Thanks all for reply and guidance. I was actually surprised to hear from Suzuki authorized workshop that it can't be repaired and i will have to replace which will cost 15000 Rs. Let me check with electricians in market and see if someone can fix it.

Why would they tell you to get it repaired when they have an oppertunity to sell their piece in 15000.

hello zafar. I have purchased headlight assembly at drivewire.com, if you want to find one try to visit their site. You should be able to get one much cheaper than the other online store.

its probably some fuses, and tell me did u face this issue after getting your car serviced?

@Jazzy, the 15k assembly, im 100% sure they dont even have it. Suzuki people are such freakos, they quote you sky high prices so that you wont even consider buying from them as they dont have Baleno parts any more at all, (some bache kuche parts are still with them but alot of items are not avalible, on questioning they tell you Balenos discontinued so no service backup either.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Yes exactly ! When I asked the 3S dealer in Sialkot for the clutch plate he told me himself that new price is about 14000 for whole set but i will give you in 9000 because i have 6 years old in stock.
