My friend has a black baleno. Many of you have seen it at the PW meets in Isloo (vertical doors wali).
That thing has grip levels that only a few other cars can match! Trust me we've tried it.
The solutions are pretty simple though. First of all, if your car is running on the stock Bridgestone tires, then please get rid of them ASAP. Secondly, if you switch to 15inch wheels with 195/55/15 tires then that will make a very significant improvement as well. Go for DUNLOP, TOYO, FIRENZA but DO NOT USE GOODYEAR at any cost.
When you go for alignment, make sure the front wheels are in negative camber. This will improve your cornering and braking stability.
You can also lower your vehicle at the front with aftermarket springs. The best part is these springs actually improve the ride on the car, if you get the right ones! But the brakes and handling just becomes phenomenal.
Don't sell this car at any cost! It is the most entertaining 1.6 that money can buy and excellent value for money.
In case you do want to sell, lemme know too.
Cheers
