Thread: Baleno JXR: where do you connect OBD2 device

    Default Baleno JXR: where do you connect OBD2 device

    Just wanted to know that where do you connect this device in baleno? I cudnt find its slot.. I saw the keymaker guy connecting some other high end obd2 device under the steering in my car when I was getting spare key made but now I can't find it my self.. Snapshot or some diagram would be appreciated too. Thanks!!!

    Check under the steering column. I saw a person connecting the device under the sterring

    Yeah thanks I just connected it paired it with Bluetooth but the device is not contacting ECU according to the app.. Damn!!

    i guess Pakistani baleno is OBD 1.5 version, and only compatible with suzuki compatible softwares,
    so simple bluetooth obd devices doesnt work with it

    Other OBD connectors are of different sizes no? But baleno has same OBD2 connector :-/

    obd 1 has different connector,

    but obd 1.5 and obd-ii share same connector, with different pin configurations

    The OBD Connector in a Baleno is under the steering column.
    Suzuki cars have a different protocol and off the shelf OBD II scanners do not work with them.
