    Default Baleno Sensor Problem

    My car a Suzuki Baleno had been actin up for quite some time .It was losing rpm when idle even on petrol .It was also jerking at low speeds and high speeds so i took it to Adil Zafar Motors in Lahore .Now they say two of its sensors are not working one is the VSS Sensor the other one is a CMP sensor .They say both will cost around 4400 rs and total of around 6000 with labour.
    The thing is i dont want to pay 6000 and later on find im still at where i started .I want to know is Adil Zafar reliable and is there any other place in lahore which can diagnose the problem .

    anyways now i have to get it solved i think i ll just have it done from Adil Zafar .You are right bluebird suzuki is to blame itself .I did get it cleaned but it still would not work.
    I think ill just go for new sensors at least ill know they are brand new .

    @shahzadmansoor

    i always suggest start from basics. check plugs/wires and then coils. urs ve 2 of them. then move on to check O2 /TPS.

    btw is it loosing ig. timing ? if yes then CPS/VSS is faulty. CPS is a common fault in baleno as far as i know after 4-5 years of car use.

    Well guys i went to lahore last week.The guys at Adil Zafar after doin an inspection this time said it was actually the o2 sensor .So i told em to change it .The car stopped losing RPM so i set back home.
    Now after using the car for about 5 days i got a new headache when i start the car the car starts but just then the RPM suddenly drops like the engine is gonna shut down but it goes back up to 800 and then its stable .The other problem is the car really lags even on petrol .Problem no 3 is when i im in second gear on cng i can feel slight jerks not really evident but u can feel em.
    Now i am plannin on commin to lahore again on monday or tuesday should i just have the VSS and CMP sensor changed even if they say they are working .What do u guys think ????

    If you live outside Lahore next time get a corolla eg. XLi. Corollas are reliable, have a soft ride, and the inside is well-insulated so the ride is silent.

    If the sensors arent working ... then you should get an error at the engine check light.

    Wiring check first. Mine screwed up too ..

    Then sensor check.

    Strangely, would you believe Honda dealers fixed this.
