    Default Toyota Belta Performance

    hi,
I have to decide between Toyota Vitz and Toyota Belta 1000 cc.
Is toyota belta is performance wise better than vitz?
I watched a review of belta (also known as yaris in some countries).
The review shows that belta is not a good option. check following link

But since goras are little touchy about luxury and etc so i want to know the local experience as well from other bothers at pak wheels

    Thnx

Belta is sedan variant of Vitz aka Yaris means over a 997 cc engine the weight has been increased.

A sedan performs Great at lowest of a 1.3 engine. with a 997 engine belta may not deliver more then 12km/liter thats in ideal driving conditions on stock wheel & tyres size

kept one. 15 to 16 kmpl within city and 17 to 18 on motorways. Economy is good but you will prefer to use it within city limits. A little throttly noise within cabin while accelerating is a little annoying but overall it is good car considering you get some many options in one car. Overall a good compact size car with a very good economy

Man then why do I hear from people that Vitz and Belta aren't giving good average ? Surely not all of them can't be aggressive drivers.

I think capsat is saying right. If you want to have a sedan then it shud be atleast 1300 cc. I think for 1000 cc, small car like vitz is better than belta 1000 cc, otherwise i will be like " na teen mein na tera mein" means passenger of two boats at the same time

My main objection to vitz and belta, is ground clearance, its a real headache in city like Lahore. Go for a 2007 - 2008 IDSI City for best fuel economy both on CNG and petrol, And no service issues / resale etc . better eceonomy than 800 cc cars .
