Default Confused about Engine Oil selection for Belta 2009 1.0x

    Dear members,

I hope this will find you in the best of you health n spirits.

I had bought Belta 2009 model 1.0x with 1KR-FE engine (59k driven) almost couple of weeks ago. The condition of card and engine is quite good and I have no issues in driving. I was and am pretty confused with the engine oil selection for my car. I was not sure which oil was previously being used in this car, and according to vendor recommendation, I had changed its engine oil with ZIC A+ 5W30. I had also changed its DENSO Plugs with NGK Irridium series compatible plugs.

Please let me know is there any chances of problem if non-synthetic oil was previously used in this card and I am now using ZIC A+ 100% synthetic oil?

Your early reply to this thread will be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

just don't care which oil was fed to it by last owner.
5w-20 is recommended for IKR-FE. ZIC A+ is 5w-20 which is the best choice for it.

or you can choose 5w-30. its also fully synthetic and good to use throughout the year.

Using fully synthetic oils does not bring any harm for engine. So better throw this idea out of your mind.
