You can get a decent 2006 or maybe even a clean 2007 model 1.0L B or X Package. Go through the used car section, you will find plenty, but remember getting a really good and clean domestically driven car is hard. Best of luck!

Well, I like I wrote before. I won't recommend it unless you want to keep the car for quite a while.

Expense won't be much. You can get an entire 2SZ with gearbox for around 70-80K. But you will be paid peanuts for your 1KR, because that is just how it goes. Other than the cost of the engine you'll have to pay for labor.
My Mechanic has worked out the price in the range of Rs 60,000 complete and that included giving up your old 1.0 engine also

Although I plan to keep my Belta for a while, Engine change is not something I would do, as my 1.0 engine has clocked only 25000 km yet.

Way too much. A low mileage 2SZ with gearbox is worth no more than 80K. That means the mechanic is taking your engine at a price of 20,000rs :-/

Guys i need u to recommend ne a good AC guy in lahore who can fix a problem wid my cars AC.
When i bought the car its compressor had a slight noise of bearing which is really worse now when ac is on car sounds like a tractor but cooling is top notch . The main problem started to arise about a week back i parked my car wid ac on and it tripped about 5 to 6 minuites later and refused to turn back on. but when i took the car to around 50 kph it turned back on . Now when ever i park my car after about 4 to 5 minuites it turns off and when car is moving it turns back on ive had the condensor cleaned ac gas is ok too. I think the bearing is putting extra load on the engine . Car is 1.3 belta .

Spot on. Actually this is the estimate he got from Engine sells in old parts market (Sultan Ka Khu) in RWP. They are buying the 1.0 engine for only Rs 20,000 with excuse that it will only be used for spare parts.

Labor will cost another Rs 5000 but If i go to the Old parts market directly, then I might only have to pay Rs 60,000 and drive out with a 1.3L belta

I've driven more than 400 now with just 2 bars left (out of total 8). Since your's is 1.3 and you drove on Motorway you'll get a bit higher mileage... in city it'll be even lower.

    Hope this helps...
If u want to make the vibration disappear, then use hi octane. I once filled up the tank to 40L and hi octane and thats the smoothest my car has run in the whole year. But too expensive so i only use it occasionally and have learned to live with the vibration.

Dont worry about the mileage also. It wont give u more than 12 km/L if u drive like me. NO offence to anyone, but the guys who claim to more from their rides are the people that drive at not over 40-50 Km/H with very gradual acceleration in city.

Should I do spend some money and change the tyres or keep using these ones, how much will the exchange cost me ?
READY PAGE 273 of the manual to get all information required for the tire sizes.

I went to toyota capital motors here at islamabad, they tuned the car changed plugs oil filters etc, and cleaned the throttle apent rs.5000 but still its giving me same avg. Do you have any idea so that i can increase its mileage. I sold my corolla 2010 model gli and bought belta just for better mileage but now i think that corolla avg was far more better then with this belta.
you wont get any better mileage than this

Hmm, I see. LOL! They won't sell it for parts, I can assure you they'll sell it for a 150-200% profit to a third party.

If the guy can get the job done without saying 'alteration is required' then go for it. But remember, negotiate as much as you can!

YES...He did say that "NO alteration required".

I might save a few thousand by going directly to Sultan ka Khu to these used parts guys but I always prefer getting it done from a mechanic trust.

Think I will get it done after Ramadan
