for Belta only iridium plugs are recommended. 1080/- was the open mkt price while toyota asks for 2200 per lug. but they live long.. in my case i usually change them after 20,000 km.. dont get the cheap ones

    Hi, Tyrone!

How have you been? No, not yet I am still in Pakistan.

I don't get notifications either, I think it has to do with the new layout that has changed and made many sub sections.

SK20HR11 is the OEM spark plug for the 1KR, get those. They are a bit expensive but are completely worth the money. You won't have to replace them for another 20-25,000 kilometers.

Great nice to hear from you. I replaced the plugs as mentioned and also sprayed some carb cleaner on the throttle body and replaced the air filter while i was at it. Problem now is that the car seems to be racing (higher RPM) and also jerks slightly sometimes, when removing foot off the accelerator pedal. Do I need to scan and chk RPM?

Reset the ECU by removing the positive terminal of the battery for 30 seconds. It should hopefully keep your RPM steady while keeping your idle and drive smooth.
