Yes. I've used elm327 bluetooth one on my belta 2011 model. Works almost perfect. Tried it on otti/ek-wagon 2011 model. Works on it too.
I guess i heard that the connector had some issues in vitz 2007 model and below. Not sure if that's true

I got my cvt oil changed and brakes serviced from suntech, behind Pepsi/7UP factory gulberg. A year ago, back then their work was satisfactory. Oil was purchased separately from a shop at Walton.
You may get it done from toyota airport, they too have some sensible people working with them.
But wherever you get it done from, supervise the work. And for the transmission oil change; search pakwheels, a guy made very detailed posts about the whole procedure in his belta/vitz (don't quite remember now). It should be helpful.

AOA Dear all, purchased a 2009 Belta couple weeks back. First ever experience with the car and i am impressed to be honest. The only drawback is acceleration which is sluggish but i can live with this drawback as the car is only for local domestic run around duty alone and since it's a 1000cc i am wrong to expect more. The fuel average of 13.5 kmpl (calculated by tank refills) is pretty awesome.
The typical 3 cylinder knocking comes to action sometimes and what i want to know is what engine oil should be used to reduce it. The previous owner was using 10w-40. Should I continue the same or change it? If to be changed, Suggest please. Thanks

Mubarik ho bro. Firstly these 1000cc vitz/belta are very good to drive and are comfortable as hell, one shouldn't call them bad just because they are sluggish.
For oil go for 5w-40 mobilone semi-synthetic or liquimoly 5w-40, both are very good, they are long lasting and make the ride smooth plus they also increase fuel efficiency plus go to filter house and get all the filters changed from AC to air filter
For tuning, go to toyota airport, and waha call the foreman Basit, he has ample knowledge of vitz or belta 1000cc, tell him to clean the throttle body, check or clean spark plugs and computer laga k race etc set kerde.

Hey bro, good to see you here as well
And yes they are very comfortable. That is why i said "i am impressed"
About the oil i have read on many forums people recommending 5w-30 as well. Would 5w-40 be better?

5w-30 will do the job. Actually I am using the Mobilone 5w-40 it's not available in 5w-30, but yes the liquimoly semi-synthetic is available in 5w-30 it's in blue bottle, ye bhi bohat acha oil hai but according to my experience you should go for mobilone 5w-40 semi-synthetic it's the best for 1kr-fe 1000cc.

Lost email account on which my i.d ali.archilounge was based
Also for knocking use hi octane 70% and regular fuel 30%. Also on oil changes, get a bottle of stp or liquimoly engine cleaner, it will clean the carbon deposits in the engine which will increase performance and reduce knocking.

Lastly also change the cvt oil from filter house. Get original toyota one.

Salaam. i recently bought belta 2006 1300cc. the car has been running beautifully but i have witnessed a problem. while driving in high speed, the car some times does not shift gear, with high acceleration sound, and the check engine light turns on. while the light is on, the car runs normally but after some time the light disappears and then again the same thing happens and then again the check engine lights turns on. what does the check engine light indicate? what is the solution to this problem?
