Go for it, you'll definately get more or less than what you're going to buy it for after a year. The parts are not an issue you can get them easily. Check for vibration on idle, if there is then you would have to get the fuel filter replaced. Check all fluids, engine oil, CVT fluid, coolant before buying it. BTW is it Pearl White or Polar White (which is plain white)? Good luck buying it, post pictures as soon as you get it!

Polar White is plain and Pearl White is metallic i.e. with shiny particles.

    Exclamation Belta w/ navigation

    Guys

ive been pondering between a nissan sunny, corolla and belta 1300. finally decided to buy a belta but thought i'd get some advice from you guys who've gone through the process.

i have some questions in mind to which i would highly appreciate your guidance

    1. what is the difference between a belta G and a standard 1300 belta except for push start and cabin control. what is a good price for a 2006 model in both the variants?

    2. Which variant has the built in navigation ? i am not really a navigation enthusiast but i would like to play dvds to keep my kid at peace. i know that you cant play dvds on the navigator while the car is running but i've heard there are ways to do it through local modification/addition of a dvd changer. is that true?

    3. Most of the beltas i checked out had the standard green LCD with scores of buttons around it. if i buy one of these, is it possible to get rid of the green LCD and install a touch system?

appreciate if anyone of you can take time out to guide me a little.

and oh, if anyone is up for selling their ride, please do let me know.

    thanks
    shehzad

    Hi, and welcome to Pakwheels!

The answers to your questions are as follows:

    1. Well the 1.3L G selection Belta offers: Keyless go, smart key, button start ignition system, door sensors (driver and passenger side), 6 SRS airbags, climate control system with an LCD display screen, optional alloy rims, optional Tv/Navigation/DVD system, optional backup camera, dual guage odometer with a RPM meter, rear armrest that's pretty much it.

    2. The optional system available for the Toyota Belta comes with OEM Toyota Tv/Navigation, Tv/Navigation/DVD player or a built-in CD player. You can play DVD movies or DVD songs on the Tv/Navigation if you have a DVD player built into the Tv system if not you can always get a DVD changer and watch DVD movies/songs on the Tv screen easily while driving with a remote if the DVD changer comes with one.

    3. That green display is the built-in CD players display screen, you can easily get a OEM or any after-market branded Tv/Navigation/DVD player fitted into it after taking the OEM built-in CD player out.

I hope I have answered all of your questions, if you need to ask anything else we're here to help

P.S: Check your PM inbox, a friend has a couple of freshly cleared 1.3L G selections up for sale.
