Belta still has an edge in the market as the x corolla has jumped out of the 1300 cc category and the people who desire to own a sedan rather than a hatchback prefer belta...

Check the border surround your Tv/Navigation system you'll find a model number like for example: ND3T-W55.

Get a OEM Tv/Navigation that would be the best choice, if you cant get a OEM Tv/Navigation system then get a good quality Pioneer DVD player. Trunk lip spoilers are easily available. A good quality Pioneer DVD player would cost you around 25-30,000. Contact @dubaiautos for the trunk spoiler.

P.S: Please share the specifications of your Belta and post pictures aswell! Happy motoring

The RON rating here sucks, the 1KR-FE requires a RON rating of 91 which is as same as the Hi-Octane we get here. Even if you add 25% of Hi-Octance to a almost full tank of supreme/regular the engine won't knock anymore.

Well no not exactly, if your car is knocking then you should add atleast 20% of Hi-Octane in your car tank when you're filling it up. If your car isn't knocking then you don't have to add Hi-Octane, but considering the bad quality fuel we get here I would consider all the owners to add 20% of Hi-Octane on every fill up to prevent knocking and to keep the engine running smooth and rich.

I'm not sure. I know it's a 1.0L, but not whether it's X or S. I'll go through the forum thread from the beginning to see if someone's posted the difference. I'll be posting pictures soon, inshallah.

Well, does your Belta have a RPM meter in the odometer? Does it have a OEM LED brake light rear spoiler and side skirts? If it does than it's a S package if it doesn't have any of these things then it's a X package.

hey i m an airline pilot just joined the forum been reading up on these posts the past couple of hours..just bought my self an unregistered 1.0 belta 4.5 grade for nearly 12 inclusive of the registration.. i was wondering if theres anyway of authenticating the auction sheet just for my own satisfaction. secondly even though i love the car and its fuel economy is absolutely phenomenonal with a great drive the engine does roar a bit while accelerating which seems as if its being stressed though it stabilizes at higher speeds..i got the car raised for a week with spacers but realized it made it somewhat unstable so i had them removed n now i am contemplating bigger tyres in the near future hoping that would affect over all engine performance too..i drove the 1.3 as well which was about a 1.5 lacks more expensive as well as the difference in economy so i tipped the 1.0 over it cz at the time the drive and the smoothness were identical infact the 1.0 seemed to be smoother on the control wheel but dint quite realize the engine noise.

Hi, first of all welcome to Pakwheels. Awesome, so you're a Belta owner aswell. What is model year of your particluar Belta? I am really glad you like the car so far, could you give us more details and maybe post some pictures of it so we could get a good idea of how your Belta is like.

Here is how you can varify a vehicle auction sheet:

Spacers are a big no, they do raise your inital vehicle height but at the same time your shock absorbers and springs get damaged. The stock tire profile of the 1.0L Belta is 165/70/R14 if you don't want a really big difference in your overall drive quality then I would suggest you go for 185/65/R15 at max which is the tire profile for the 1.3L with 15'' alloy rims it won't make the suspension a tad bit stiffer because the suspension of the 1.0L and 1.3L varients are the same although the 4WD being an exception.

What 1.3L Belta did you drive? The one with the 2SZ-FE or the one with the 2NZ-FE? The ride quality of the 1.0L and the 1.3L are pretty much the same, but the 1.3L varient has more overall power as compared to the 1.0L varient ofcourse and the fuel economy of both isn't that much of a difference either. That roaring sound you hear when you gun the car is of the CVT gearbox, at full accleration it changes gears at higher RPM's. I've experienced it with the 1.3L varient aswell because it comes with a CVT gearbox too.
