How come? Zubair and I just tried to give driving tips. From your mention of speed, doesn't seem like you adhered to that! Filter issue was either Murtaza's suggestion or your own brainwave!

A decent '06 1.3L 4WD Belta should not cost you more than 12,75,000.

The fuel consumption of the 4WD variant is quite high, 8-10 KM/L overall.

It is located on the left-hand side B-pillar, open the passenger side door and you'll see it stuck onto the B-pillar vertically.

Here I took this picture of the one on my Belta, just for reference (blocked out the frame number to be on the safe side).

Mashallah salalkhan. G grade is definitely the best of all variants. Love the rpm, two dials and push start.

    Lightbulb Auto-Window close help

Belta Fans! A couple of months back I installed a 2-way remote car start alarm system. Its like a small pager with LCD and communicate to-and-from Belta over a 1.5km range.

The system had many optional interfaces for which other systems could have been hooked up, either the ones available in market or a DIY. Some of them I did were like trunk opener, brake press, A/C operation, car start, stop, hijack/touch/tilt detection, etc. etc. done from remote. Then there was a option of auto close windows on manual or auto-timed car lock, for which I installed a window closer, which is working fine with the 3 windows, except for the driver's one, which has a Auto-kit installed from Toyota factory like all Beltas.

The Auto-window of driver's seat gets current (electricity) for a couple of seconds after car is off, according to how Toyota programmed that Auto-kit (fitted in its door).

Now the problem is: When I lower all windows of car while car's engine is running, they close in the same sequence in which they were opened, as soon as I have either

    1. stepped out of my Belta, turned it off and moved away 50 meters with remote, or
    2. have manually pressed the lock button on the remote after engine off, or
    3. I am standing close to stopped car, and 2 minutes have passed, which automatically locks the car.

But, the main driver window closes always in 1st, and 3rd case. But not always in 2nd case. The Auto-kit doesn't respond to my lock button on remote, when pressed immediately after car stop. Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not.

Since its a DIY project and I have compiled many small circuits to achieve options, I am in search of help, if someone know how factory fitted Auto-kit works, or can tell me where to buy a Belta Auto-kit for the driver's Auto Window, so that I can experiment on that, instead of messing mine (because the IC it uses is pretty rare here). Any help is appreciated as I know many humble advisers are active here
If your profile picture is a car, then I have no choice but to assume you're a transformer.

You were quite brave to do that
I am not installing these things in my car as i donot want an electrician to ruin the cabling of my car...

You must have got the Steel Mate security system, how much does it cost?
