    @stinkfist
    I have installed tires 170/65/14, but the problem of clearance was not solved 100%, so I have installed Spacers both in front and back, now ALHAMDULILLAH, the clearance issue is resolved, 15" will only increase your fuel consumption, don't know about how much clearance you can get...
    Though i'll say don't rely on the clearance offered by bigger tires..

    Haven't bothered about the sound system so can't give you any input, I am using the Mp3 FM modulator, for now it is solving my problem of playing the mp3s

    1.3 Belta G 2007, two queries please,
    1) When to change CVT oil? Its done 37K so far. Toyota service centre said bring ur car at 40k.
    2) I m always a Caltex Oil fan but I don't think this caltex formula suits my belta, The best recommendation of Engine oil with its grade will be highly appreciated.

    Ive recently bought a Belta 1.3L 2006. Pretty satisfied till now but there are a few things that need to be addressed. I hope all the Gurus here can pitch in a bit of their time and expertise to answer my questions

    A) Road Clearance:
    Now this is an issue i've read about a lot. I sort of experienced it last weekend when i had 3 passengers in the car with me and the speed breaker scratched the underside of the body.
    My questions regarding road clearance are;

    1- Would 15" rims address this issue or would it still be there to some extent?
    2- Read something about spacers solving road clearance issues on this forum? what are they and has anyone tried this approach?
    3- People say that 15" rims on Belta rub against the body? Has anyone experienced this?

    B) Sound system:
    My Belta is Basic with the basic CD player. I need something that can connect my Ipod? Ive looked through pics of some fully loaded beltas but couldn't figure out a few things

    4- Due to the panel design, are my options limited to the OEM sound system (are there other options)?
    5- Does the OEM sound system support IPOD connectivity?
    6- Where can i Buy (and also professionaly get installed) an OEM sound system in Lahore and what would be the price range?

    Like always, your help would be really appreciated fellas.
    Hi, first of all welcome to the Belta's owners and fan club

    Installing 15'' inch wheels will raise the initial height of the vehicle by an inch. They should not hit the speed breakers. Take your car diagonally over a speed breaker the under-carriage won't the hit speed breaker.

    @zubair530 has installed spacers in his Belta and he has no complain till now whatsoever. I however would not like to mess around with the suspension, but hey that's me. They are rubber spacers which in most cases are installed on top of springs in order to raise the ground clearance of the vehicle.

    No, 15'' inch wheels won't rub against the body if you are running the correct profile. If you're running lower profile tires the odds are that they will touch against the body on jumps. Get a proper profile, 195/60-65/R15 would be the best.

    You won't be able to connect an iPod/iPhone into your stock built-in CD player. Yes there are many other options, you will have to get an OEM DVD/2-Din console in order to fit a DVD/MP3 player. They aren't easily available but if you do get your hands on one it'll most likely cost you in between 5-6,000rs.

    I hope I have answered your questions, if you need any further assistance feel free to ask us.

    Welcome to the Belta club, please post pictures of you Belta so all of us can have a glance at the G selection of yours.

    Toyota recommends to replace the CVT fluid, chamber gasket and o-ring at 60-70,000Kms.

    I use Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40, have been using it for the past five years. No problems so far Alhamdulillah. Why don't you give Mobil1's 5W-50 a try? It is said to be the best motor oil available in the current market.

    A very popular color in Belta. White and silver are the most common, I have noticed. Lovable, the initiator of this topic also had his in Silver. Your car is quite clean I see. The picture of the headlight in the first snap looks dashingly big.
