(petrol gauge & Key Engine lights are working & so are the main beam lights..i got both my Fuse boxes fully checked (under dash board & the on in the engine) & all fuses are OK. no one else touches my car but me & i didnt played with anything.. any suggestions what could be the reason. as i dont want local electricians to mess my otherwise OK wiring.. also can anyone confirm the exact fuse # for Meter??? i have the cover which has all the fuse numbers but confused among which is the right one.. thanking in advance for anyone who comes up with any suggestion
Can you please post pictures of the wiper blades you got?

Have you checked the main bulb for the speedometer? It might be fused.

Not worth experimenting on, it'll still ruin your entire gearbox.

I would settle for anything that

    2. supports Ipod connectivity and back camera
    3. gives me better options than the CD player

    and does not

    1. break down every other thursday
    2. have an embarassing brand name
    3. Play crappy ringtones of fairies and ponies when turned off or on (like the ones you get in chinese mobiles)

your input in this matter would be highly appreciated chaps
It's not worth it at all, the new one costs 15,000rs. It is built-in but it has horrible built/sound quality. The software is just like the homescreen of a Chinese cell phone. I would suggest you get yourself a OEM Toyota headunit. I have the ND3T-W55 headunit in my Belta, it supports DVD, CD, MP3, FM/AM, MD, TV, back-up camera, CD/DVD changer and what not. You can get a decent one for about 20,000rs

An OEM Toyota Tv/Navigation and DVD player would be a million times better than that Chinese built-in one.

This is by Rockmars, and is specially built for Belta. In-dash and you don't even have to buy the DVD console/Panel. This fits right in.Toyota Belta Owners & Fan Club - 411180
I wouldn't suggest to anyone, honestly.

    Hey Murtaza,

    First of all Happy Birthday.

Secondly, How bad is it? Now the new one is worth 15K-16K (in totality).
The OEM or any other would cost me at least 20-25K plus another 5-6k for the panel.

Other people on other topics on this forum are OK with rock mars, they say the sound quality is not as good as pioneer or kenwood but not bad

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/car...ars-av-systems

So, if i'm saving around 10K-15K in the entire process. My question is, is Rock Mars that bad?

    Thanks for the wish

It's bad, really bad. An OEM headunit will cost 20K + 5K for the DVD/2-Din console that makes a total of 25,000rs. You will be satisfied, honestly.

The sound quality, the video quality and the Rock Mars system as a whole is really terrible. You will regret buying it, seriously.

An aunt + sis have the Rockmars thing in their Corollas. Works perfect as of now. I think Rizwan400 also had it in his Corolla or Honda, not sure which. Ov vot I did read from some other member in Lahore was that the one being provided by Honda didn't give correct directions and he said it had to be started all over again, whatever that meant.

Welcome to Pakwheels.com and the Belta owners/fan club!

Congratulations on buying a Belta. Care to share the price and complete specifications with us?

    - If it's not the 4WD then you should get 14-16Km/L

    - I am afraid you cannot do that, the best option would be to live with it or get a Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine DVD headunit and use that if you don't like the OEM headunit.

    - Check it yourself, it's very easy. One cannot trust any workshop at all nowadays.

    - Sure thing, 0345-3339515

They do look like they're the correct size. You mind telling us what are the sizes of each of the wiper blades?

BTW, where is the missing water deflector piece that is suppose to be on the left-hand side?

Their is currently no such DVD/Navigation system available. I hope the software company that is providing Honda Atlas and Toyota Indus the softwar e for the Civic and Corolla start providing software for after-market headunits as well. But it won't be anytime soon that's for sure.

Why don't you get a DVD player? Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony are few good options. You can always go for the OEM Toyota Tv/Navigation systems which have built-in DVD ROMS and optional AUX and SD card input.

Do you use Supreme/Super fuel all the time? Where do you get the fuel from? Caltex? Shell? Total? PSO?

Try to use a 70:30 ratio of Supreme and Hi-Octane, the 1KR-FE requires some Hi-Octane fuel in it.

The RON rating for the 1KR-FE is 91. Which is more or less the same RON rating of the Hi-Octane fuel available in our country. Adding even a 70:30 ratio will hopefully solve your problem of knocking.

I have been silently reading your communication. Since my stake is limited to interest only and that too without first hand experience, I cannot contribute much! Saad has come asking if CNG can be installed. I have always been deadly against CVT on CNG but Zubair questioned my opposition with some links so I won't even answer that!

Don't consider buying a Belta if you're going to plan to run it on CNG.

2000-2500rs is more than enough, did you try negotiating?
