185/60/R15 would the best size to go for. It won't change your drive quality and won't harm your suspension.

As for alloy wheels, OEM's will be the best option. But everyone has their own choices.

Below are three different wheels that the Belta came with. The first wheel is a 14'' one and came in the 1.0L XS package. The second wheel came in the pre face-lift G package and the last wheel came in the post face-lift G and XL package, both of these are 15''s.

NOTE: All of these wheels were optional, expect for the 1.0L XS package and have a 4-bolt pattern.

    Thanks !
I think I will go for the shorter 185/60s instead of 185/65s .
I asked about handling because a couple of months ago i replaced worn out 195/60 r14 dunlop sp sports on my 2004city with hankook meo2 185/70 r14. The car doesnt touch ANY speed breakers, even with 4 people sitting, but its turn-in has become really slow and handling has worsened. Furthermore, road grip deteriorates significantly at 105 kph - similar feeling came at 140 kph with previous low . profile tyres. I guess too much air find its way below the car and lifts it.
However, with 4 people sitting, car is stable up to 120kph - thats as fast as I have had chance to drive

Also, dunlop sp sport are the noisiest tyres I have ever used !

BubyDuby007 which tyres did you buy ?

185-60-15 were not available so i had to go for 185-65. But these are giving me the perfect ground clearance so not issues. 185-60 might actually not solve the problem for u....i recommend u go for 195-60 or 185-65... I have Dunlop LM-703's. Dont have any noise issue on these. But if u can find Yokohama's, they are better tires as per my experience.

I am up for it. I'll ask Tyrone as well, let me see what he says. The total price should be divided between at least four members.

BTW, you know the procedure of delivery and payment right?

Count me in Would love to have one in English. But like murtaza_murti said have to be sure of the shipping. There is this site homeshopping.pk where you select anything from ebay and they will arrange it for you. You can check them out and see if their shipping is cheaper.

    Great!

So, that's a total of three people now.

@BubyDuby007, please confirm the shipping and handling procedure so we can further materialize the process.

    Default Belta maintenance experience

Guys.. Finally got the car scanned yesterday. No problems as such. The only indication was of throttle body service. Now I have already got this done 2 times, once by my local mechanic and then to double check, by Toyota Capital motors.
The mechanic then recommended that i should use only High octane only. What do u guys think??

The other problem my car had was ABS Braking system not working. Found out that the rear ABS sensors were damaged/broken and ABS system was disabled. Had to change the rear hubs as the ABS sensors are embedded in the Hubs. Cost = Rs 6000 each. Getting the electrical system of ABS fixed Rs 4000. (the ABS light in the panel was disabled very cleverly and was connected with the ignition lights. As soon as the car was started and ignition lights when out, so did the ABS light, leading to no malfunction indication light of ABS).

Total Bill about RS 20000. The ABS system is working fine now.

Has anyone else also faced this kind of problem??

On my first full tank my belta gave me a fuel consumption of 12.53 km/l. With ac, mostly with just a single occupant. Filled up from APL near airport. I was expecting better mileage.

As soon as the car was started and ignition lights when out, so did the ABS light, leading to no malfunction indication light of ABS).

Total Bill about RS 20000. The ABS system is working fine now.
My Platz had an ABS issue. A small piece of the ABS thing was changed only in one tire. Just one thing, one place. Why then did you have to undergo such a lot? That cost me a little over Rs. 2000 for the product and this, m talking about 2010 when parts were cheaper than today.

Is your vehicle 1.0l or 1.3? Normal package or S (Sports)? 2WD or 4? Just to let you know, Farhansa had the same issue and found the fuel filter was choked. The first Belta owner in Islamabad by my records, Abmalik suffered lower mileage than you on his 1000cc.

Mine is also more or less the same. But I must confess I haven't been able to give it much time. Busy schedule both at home and work. All I have done so far is replace the engine oil with Shell Helix Ultra, Original Oil filter, Original Air filter. That's about all. Have to still check and see the spark plugs and maybe do a throttle body clean.
