It mostly depends upon your driving style, don't push the paddle too much, if your engine seems to be roaring too much, you must bee sure it is also eating fuel more...

The other day, the Service Manager at Toyota Islamabad Motors told my friend's dad that he could get 18-19km/l on his brand new 1.6 GLi automatic if he changes the gear at 2000 rpm. I know many of yours lack that. Just wanted to share additional info I learnt so late.

    the average u r having is awesome! mine is 1.0 & i m getting 12 in city & around 16 on motorway.
i went o isb last week with 5 ppl & truck full of luguage, car;s rear was almost touching the tyres, and even touched the tyres on turns!!! i dont know what the issue can be, may be the shocks are too soft & having some issue, or i really loaded the car too much!!

can someone plz help me about it, also help required for increasing fuel average!!!

It's better that you open up the sump and drain out all the oil and also you can get the gasket too instead of putting silicone to stick it back.

Make sure you fill it from the proper filler hole. There is a post on drain - refill here on PW.

I think u should go to any Toyota dealership to get the oil changed. (provided the charges are reasonable) And remember to add 6.3 litres of oil. We all have been making the mistake of adding only 4 ltrs which is not correct.

The oil could be available for 4000-4500 for 4 ltr can. u will have to buy 2 of these

Dear all, I purchased a 2009 1000cc belta in august, and since I was going to be out of the city for a few months, i asked the dealer to hold on to the registreation documents for me. Now he has lost them. He is saying he is willing to exchange car with an fresh import, or give me back the price I paid for it. He has asked for another week to find the file, which I have granted him.
The car is in great condition. Giving good mileage now after tuning and oil change. I got it fully checked from a toyota dealer, no problems found. I it would be major pain to find another good car if I take my money back. What to do ?

    Thanks

Oh ok thanks. I was just clarifying coz I have the same system and installed a USB Card but the videos with flv extension were not playing so was wondering if its just a audio card. I have converted the flv to mp4 and will check today and see.

    Thanks

Now he has lost them. He is saying he is willing to exchange car with an fresh import, or give me back the price I paid for it. He has asked for another week to find the file, which I have granted him.
The car is in great condition. Giving good mileage now after tuning and oil change. I got it fully checked from a toyota dealer, no problems found. I it would be major pain to find another good car if I take my money back. What to do ?

    Thanks
If you don't have reg documents, how are you going to keep the car?

But a question is, they were not so much worthless documents to get lost...

unluckily if such is the case, please return the car and get another or cash back, don't keep it...

it'll get tough for you in Pakistan.
