Take your money back. That car isn't the last good piece in the country.

    hey all,

I am planning to change my car. I am more of a local isb expressway driver but drive almost 2400 a month. I have a budget of 1.3m. I am thinking of swift dlx brand new, however, my dad saw n liked toyota belta 1.3L and said to buy this instead. So i went to see belta on some showrooms and i really loved the car. My dad also is saying to buy this but the cars that i saw had interior/exterior problems etc. So i am hesitant in buying for the following reasons:

    1. which dealer to buy freshly imported with low mileage e.g. upto 30k MR who is reliable ??

    2. parts availability of belta?

    3. O&M costs?

    4. cng option available for it or not. does belta 1.3L perform well on cng if i opt for it later?

    5. Resale value lets say if i sell it after 3years?

So now i am getting confused which to go for ... Belta or Swift ....

Do you guys suggest me to buy belta 1.3L used over swift new? and Where to buy belta in isb/pindi area from ne dealer if i go for belta ?

Open for suggessions from you experts please ??????? ...

    Thanks.

Reagarding the LCD you can check the shops on Liberty round about. There is a big shop , m forgetting the name exactly but its adjacent to cross roads outlet on Liberty Round about. I got mine changed with Back view camera and additional rear speakers for 15k plus my jdm Navigation player.

A 1000cc, 2007 Model costed me 1100,000 Rs here with every thing, back in Dec11. The car is of auction grade 4.5 and was driven only 14,000Kms.

So a 1.3 will cost you about 13-13.5 if you import it by yourself. but remember (I think) that import of used cars life has been reduced from 5 years to 3 years... So if you are getting a good 2007 model in 13+, i'll suggest go for it.

    thanks for your suggestion
a genuine belta car costs 14 plus
due to demand here in pakistan 14 plus has no market
so accidental cars with fake grade sheets are here in markets
    demanding 13 to 13.5 for 1.3 belta
the car u mentioning has mileage only 14k
a car used in japan for 5 years how is it possible that its mileage only 14k
it means its mileage per month was 240 km/month
    what a fake mileage mentioned
the mileage meters changed in karachi or some where else
    these things confused me
sorry for comments on your car Zubair sb
i am only commenting on the parameters which people mentioning
    take care

Now the fact is, we bought it ourselves from auction, i also uploaded the auction sheet in this forum. you might need to search through the forums.
I also mentioned the auction grade (i.e. 4.5), the condition of the car speaks, you won't believe it is a 5 years old car. The pictures are also present in this forum.

Tampering; if not done by Japanese, i am 100% sure there hasen't been done..

Imported in 2011, it's about 2013 start and still unreg.... you know the fines/extra charges you will be paying when you for registration?

BTW, why din't you get it registered?

Why are you worried about resale? Who knows what will happen tomorrow. It's a great car with great pick and luxurious drive for a 1,000 cc and from my personal experience I would advise you to go for it and enjoy it.

When I was buying my first JDM (Vitz 2004) in 2007 I was discouraged so much about resale etc but after 5 years I sold it with a profit of about a lac...so you never know how things will change later on.

Open for suggessions from you experts please ??????? ...

    Thanks.
AOA...I recently bought both cars so i think i can give u good advise here. My Belta is 1000Cc 2008 model. No problem of spare parts. Also, the used spare parts markets in Pindi and filled with belta parts. Car is very nice. Very good interior and exterior finish. In close comparison between the 2 cars, swift does not have much trunk space, but has lightening fast pickup. Interior is bad finish, as all suzuki cars do. U might experience some rattles also.
Simply put, my belta which is 2008 model and had 50,000 km on it seems to be in better condition than the swift which has just been driven 5000 KM will now and is 2012 model.
But in your budget of 13 L, i dont think u will get a very nice 1.3L belta.

    I hope this helps
