Before buying it, I took it to Toyota Service center for a through checkup and they also gave their satisfaction certificate which also raised my satisfaction level and finally I bought it There are few things that they identified which should be changed/serviced and I am sharing the list with you guys and will be waiting for your precious suggestions. Following is the list that Toyota says which should be replaced or serviced:
    - Engine Tuning
    - A.T.F. Oil
    - A.T.F Jane
    - Brake Service
    - A.T.F. Chamber
    - Spark Plug

As I am new to Belta therefore I will really appreciate your useful suggestions.

Jiger gari rakhni hai to aik dafa change kerwa lo (for your own satisfaction) however tranny oil is good for 60,000kms so dont worry about that. yours is 1000 or 1300?

Overall its an excellent rideto keep but the fuel consumption is worrisome.. beltas are known for their good mileage..

So you are one of the case in 1300cc getting low mileage .... strange. As I said, lets see if any expert can come to this ..... I hope beltas have a configuration DVD that you can slide in to get your car factory tuned ...

If you race, you are not going to get a good mileage.

The mileage also depends upon how much is your daily drive and how many times your car starts with a cold engine. It also depends upon your petrol pump and also depends upon your airfilter and plugs status.
The air in tyres also effect the mileage...

Also the tyre size, and number of passengers...

So getting a better mileage is a combination of all these things synchronized and tuned to the perfect combination.

Dear Kazim, my Belta is 1000 CC and I got it in Rs.1,025,000/- and it is in light green color.

Yesterday I figured out that my car is giving around 12 Km per liter mileage and I hope after tuning and changing spark plugs it will give me more mileage per liter.

    Aoa everyone,

i am thinking of buying a 2006 belta, in ISB, but after reading through here and over the internet, i am a bit confused between the different packages/varients specially L & G.
I saw some pictures of the G varient to have buttons on the steering wheel (steering wheel controls) but i am unable to verify whether this comes with factory fitted or modified by users.

Can somebody shed some lights on the differenc between the X/L/G varients?

    Thanks in advance!

Hi every body. I am feeling that unlock button of my remote is a bit hard or it works when I press it multiple times. May be it is because of low battery of remote but I am thinking to make a duplicate copy of this key and remote.

Can anybody suggest me a good remote / key maker in Lahore.

I am Driving Belta 1300 from last 1 year, my daily drive is around 100 KM. from starting I am getting 13 with AC and without AC 15 KM \ L which is good. always try to drive with light foot lets the car to gain the speed and then maintain it instead pushing it hard and then applying breaks. In a year I regularly changed oil , oil filter at 5000 and air filter at 10,000 Km as it is recommended to me by a friend working at Toyota service center. I only get my car tuning once in a year this is again suggested by the same guy as he said there is no need of tuning for these cars just self satisfaction. I added fuel inject cleaner of STP once and it seems good.

Initially I had 195 / 60 R15 which touches the body while turning the steering completely. Now changed to 185/ 70 R14 which gave same ground clearance as of 15 Rim?s giving but with light drive impression after changing the tire and rim size.

I installed the video card along with back view camera in 4000 Rs from hall road Lahore in Oct 2012 its working fine, all you have to copy the songs with .dat extension and mpeg. Batter convert the songs to .dat extension its basically the extension of VCD.

Hope above information will help the new Belta owners.

i had the same issue , rather my remote almost had no buttons
luckily i came across an auto decoration shop here in abbottabad and he had keys of these japanese cars having the lock/unlock buttons only.. all i had to do was to take the remote circuit from the old one and place it in the new key.. it fits as if its the original one and works just like the original remote.. and then go to some expert key maker to make the key for u accordingly..

i am thinking of buying a 2006 belta, in ISB, but after reading through here and over the internet, i am a bit confused between the different packages/varients specially L & G.
I saw some pictures of the G varient to have buttons on the steering wheel (steering wheel controls) but i am unable to verify whether this comes with factory fitted or modified by users.

Can somebody shed some lights on the differenc between the X/L/G varients?

    Thanks in advance!

    Belta X is basic model
    Belta L is fully automatic
Belta G is fully auto plus push start and steering controls and some lucky ones get call controls as well

That what I understood in my little search for Belta before I bought it

one should buy it and if yes then wat would be the good price to offer ???????

My two cents .... I think its little overpriced and its X grade. Need to check for any touch ups. Beltas are good machine, few are in confusion due to bad milleage but then a nice tune up can resolve any issue.
