    @sohail009
    Welcome to Pakwheels as your Profile Shows its ur 3rd Day @ Pakwheels.
    In my Opinion Vitz is better option than Platz as both have same 1000cc VVTi engine and Platz body is too big for 1000cc car.
    I can't change ur mind becauz every person have its own thinking & Requirments but belive me ViTZ is better option if it fits ur needs.
    Recently I have purchased Toyota VItz 2004 Model FL Package Silver Colour with Alloys & New Tyres with 30K on ODA & extra Ordinary Condition For 640K in Karachi & U must get a mint condition Platz in the same range about 650K 660K.

    the other day i was shockingly quoted above Rs. 7 lac for a 2004 model. i clearly remember it was around Rs. 6.40 lacs a good 7-8 months back, maybe more but now dealers are taking advantage of the 3 year import policy of our great govt. i myself love the car a lot particularly because it has a trunk in addition to the Vitz but it's this resale factor putting me off.

    On such big body car with only 1000cc engine, Automatic & about 4-5 years old vehical I think that putting CNG would be a compromise as if u will drive with two or more Passengers on A/C it will run like ghada gari!!!
    No Offense only giving suggestion.
    Thanx

    it would certainly turn heavy but if you're least pushed about speed, go for it. as for the pre 2004 models, allow me to remind you that it is those which have given a bad name to Platz.

    @sohail
    well well well... so i have to write all that again. in my opinion, platz is a better option than a vitz. why? kuz it also has a boot which is p[retty much spacious enough even after the CNG installation. not as big as a rolla or a city,but then, its a 1000 cc car and shall not be compared with those. as far as the performance on CNG is concerned, look for a manual transmission one, and get it CNGed, and i assure u it runs as smooth as anything. i personally have a 2003 model one with me and have CNG in it. it has a 60 kg cylinder and in local it gives me 200 gm REGULARLY on one cylinder. on long route, it gives me more than 250 km. if u dont belive me, visit me sometimes and i can verify it. for more queries, u can mail me. thankz. once again...DONT BUY AN AUTOMATIC ONE....PEACE

    and i dont think platz is an under powered car at all. its just a myth out there. i agree is mite not be as fast as the vitz kuz of carrying more weight, but then 1000cc cars shall be taken as economy cars, no? just drive it smooth. STILL, my car goes till 130 on CNG and 160 on petrol. so what more can u ask for. i went to murree yesterday and then had free loitering in islamabad. the car gave me 215 km in one cylinder, despite driving on low gears on goin to and kuming back from murree. i guess its more than one can wish for Mashallah.
