    @wahaj
    cant argue with a person who has switched his receiver off and is bent upon proving that a car which is not crash tested, which doesnt have ABS and has no such thing as "road grip", and looks like a @!*(@#$@, has the most pathetic QC issues and is assembled in pakistan is better than a car assembled in japan (may it even be a 660 cc Alto). wastage of ma time. and as i said, u r happy with ur crap, i m happy with mine...so just back off wud u

    and u r so generous in accepting ma offer. maybe u can learn a lil mannerism from ppl around, if not already imparted

    All things aside, where did manners come in from?

    Did I disrespect his highness anywhere along the way?

    By the way, you are insulting me (and other owners) by calling my personal ride a crap.

    And what you are advocating implies that eveyone with locally assembled Altis/Civic's should get rid of them and get 660cc imported Altos, due to "better quality".

    As far as crash tests go, cars are crash tested as a legal requirement in their country of origin/design, but it is not a requirement to carry out crash tests in every country where that same car is assembled....because the same design and specifiations are followed in the country of assembly. So i gather all Japanese cars assembled in Pakistan have had their crash tests in Japan.

    ok...so i wud reframe ma answer for the poster (who by the way has vanished leaving me and wahaj at daggers drawn)

    for the poster ONLY .... (wahaj to close his eyes)
    these cars are not to be compared as one is 1000cc and other is 1300. if it has to be a 1300cc car, u shud not go for liana as we have got better options in 1.3 category available in the market. if u wanna get a 1.0 car, go for platz if u need space and comfort, but if u need power as well, go for a vitz. FINITO

    @wahaj
    hope i didnt say anything wrong this time

    if its ended, why the hell start the argument from beginning
    if tc=p then hc=m where tc is equal to toyota corolla and p is equal to paindu, and hc is equal to honda civic and m is equal to moron

    @waleed: i'm cool, dude...

    btw, this might make u feel better: when i was deciding which car to purchase, my top choice was Lancer. But unfortunately it was sold out, and only the 1.6 glx a/t was available. So i took a test drive first of Liana (1.3 m/t cng) from suzuki sh-e-faisal, and then of Lancer 1.6 a/t from Sherwani motors, and finally picked the Liana. In my opinion (others do no have to agree), there wasn't much difference in the drive and comfort, so i chose not to spend an extra 200K for the lancer glx.

    Coming back, if i were given the choice again, i would still pick Lancer. I simply love its shape. But XLI and City were a no no for me.

    Try "Kaala Kulu" apples from Ziarat...they are black in color, and i have only seen them once in Karachi.
