It must b noted several times that almost every car faces tail light as well as other plastic covered light's fading. To make them gud as new they require special cleaning from both outside as well as inside which is mostly limited to outside due to complexities which arise in their removal.
The question is HOW CAN ONE AVOID THEM GETTING FADED IN THE FIRST PLACE?
I am asking this question becuz i have a mehran 2006 and managed to open the front indicator light's covers, of plastic of course, which were held with in place by a pair of screws. On opening them i found out that the reflecting layer of some silver sort of thing had been damaged probably due to sunlight exposure or water entrance. In addition to that i found that the layer of orange color on the bulb has also been faded.Washing the covers did improved them a lot but excellence was still not achieved.
As we all know that tail light covers are also made up of plastic in mehran, so is it possible to get them restored by experts?
