battery terminals are oriented differently. they are identified as R or L batteries, e.g. the 100 series 80AH AGS batteries are named as XL100 and XR100 one is left side mount the other is right side mount. All battery models have these codes and every battery vendor knows them too.
the left side mount batteries are shaped like
+ve ---- -ve
the right side batteries are designed like
-ve ------ +ve
for some reason they are coming out stupid on PW - anyway you get the idea right. its quite odd that the owner of this car has a RHS battery in his civic, 80% of all small batteries in Pakistan are LHS and 80% of large ones are RHS - maybe the battery vendor had this for a long time and wanted to sell it.
