These kinds of scratches are common in old frequently used cars. In my case they occurred due to piece of mud which acted as a sand paper. Such kind of scratches are also present of front and rear screen. So my question is that can we eliminate these scratches or at least minimize them?Is there any technique like puffing etc etc...... These scratches spoiled the beauty of my car......
Sorry the picture upload is facing problems!
You can get your windows buffed.
I also have the same query....once painter asked me to use some ''cutting cream''...i bought it but have no idea how to use it.
go to any shop that polishes headlights..they will buff the windows with a rotary buffer..it works indeed..u cn eleiminate the swirls completely..however deeper ones r reduced nt removed..the difference is obviuous...cutting creams of any sort are jst a waste of tym n money..no use..
Buff is what basically? They peel off the mirror surface or what? Plenty of ppl day buffing isnt recommended. It even takes out deep scratches?

The only solution to this problem is buffing the glass. It does affect the wind shield a little, but it removes the swirls which affect night visibility and can cause accidents.
buffing isn't recommended because once you go out in the sun you'll see nothing other then marks (swirls) which are made by the buffer rarely visible to the naked eye and only becomes visible when the lights of the opposing cars pass through it .... !
