I have recently installed a decent sound system in my ride.
Below is the equipment purchased and installed:

HU:
Honda OEM Indash Navi / DVD

Honda | Pakistan | CITY | Features : Interior

Front Stage:
Focal PS165
Focal PS 165, car audio coaxial hifi speakers to customize your car sound system.

Wirings for Front Stage:

Focal Elite EK21 AmplifierKit (Power wires and RCAs included)

Amp for Front stage:

Focal Solid-2
Solid2 Focal amplifier for car audio system

Rear Stage:
Honda stock speakers (Focal 165CV1 purchased as a replacement) 31-03-13

Infinity Kappa Perfect VQ12
Infinity Kappa Perfect12 VQ 12" Component Subwoofer with Variable Q at Crutchfield.com

Sub Woofer Box:

Sealed Subwoofer Box with polyfill and internal volume of 1.25Cu.Ft after driver placement.

What a day we had together.. Looks nice and tidy, just need to straighten SS REF800.4 a little hehe otherwise all good..

Congratulations on the great purchases my friend,the next thing i'd recommend you to do is change your HU to a SQ one and get a Pioneer 80PRS.Run the system passively for a while until you read about how to run active then go for active since you've already got the foundations laid for a great 2 way active setup.Cheers...
p.s get rid of the OEM rear speakers and run a front stage.

Thank You Naveed, for introducing me to the World of detailed music. Surely im enjoying it, even though all eq are flat, both PS and VQ are in break-in period, Gains are on minimum. Im waiting impatiently to get pass from this period and run the system after tuning.

You are right coldie, HU should be replaced. I always wanted to start the setup with the good HU, i was considering 90PRS, you almost read mu mind.But then i delayed, but its still in to do list.
I m surprised the the OEM unit, aint performing that bad, its still okay to run this for the time being.

Thankyou Roms. Im using the large insert but needs to experiment the small as well, then i will choose depending upon my taste. You are using VQ12 from quite some time, what do you recommend, what difference it would bring in sound? How about no insert option?

Thankyou you @harriz123 and @ cold_fusion for your suggestions. Currently the rear OEM are not getting any power, im only feeding the front stage. I will be soon installting Focal165CV1 to compliment the PS165. What do you say?

In sealed, 1.25 cuft or above, NO Q isnert should be used, that will yield the highest Qtc. You should try it. I am using the same as well

Recently i was playing with the polarities of the subwoofer and phase shifting, it was real fun to see the effects and discovered that polarity was reversed, after changing it there was a drastic change in the sound. Now i intend to check the same for components, gurus pl guide for below:

Should i change the polarities on the cross-overs for example for midrange only. By this, will i be changing the polarities of the mid range only and alternatively if i want i can change the polarity of tweets only?
Or should i just change the wires on the amp instead? I think in this way i would be change the polarities of both midrange and tweets at the same time.

What du to all say?
