First of all, those who say Civics don't have resale and have spare part and durability problems need to shut the **** up and actually buy and maintain a Civic before talking about resale and parts they don't have a clue about.
No resale? I just sold my 2002 VTi M/T, for 750,000. The car was just regularly maintained and in good condition. After 7 years it still drove like new. Let me know if 750,000 for a 7 year old car which cost approximately 10.5 lacs in 2002 is too litte?
Secondly I've had offers of 1,650,000 on my 07 VTi Oriel M/T... so you'd be very lucky if you find a single owner car for 1.4 million in good condition. Maybe you can get a car with a few "poor touchups" for 1.5 million that too won't be in good condition.
A word of advice, do not go for cars standing in showrooms. Just imagine how thoughtless the owners are who send their cars to showrooms where everyone sits in them, test drives them and freely revs the engine. That just shows how much the owner cared for the car before selling it. If you want a good car, open a newspaper and read the classifieds.
