Dear All,
Every body is sharing their experinces so i would like to share mine as well.
I had both cars at the same time
1-Suzuki Margalla Model 1993 Isb regd color white (cng fitted) & I am the first owner of that car.after 17 long years it is still with me & running good as i always maintain cars well.it gives me 175 km on a Rs:400 cng & its top speed on cng is 170km/h...yes after 17 long years still can beat a stock baleno 1300 cc 0r a honda city/corolla xli..unbeleiveable...check the following thread..pics speaks them selves
https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/members-member-rides/42773-fastest-margalla-cng
2-I use to have a sarkari Baleno 1300 cc model 2004 also on CNG.
Top speed 160 km/h..agreed on a better & faster pick up on petrol but not on cng(as compare to a margalla)
Margalla chasis is lighter than baleeno..more solid body, reliable, long life, simple engine very easy to maintain.high resale..now here comes the turing point..Baleeno 2004 worth max is 5oo k while I still get offers of Rs:400k for my 1993 Margalla (but i m not selling it).
More over Baleeno got a particular bemari on cng that is pathky marna on cng...due to complicated efi system..this is a common bemari of baleeno which later becomes pain in ***...
So my vote goes for margalla..its a very reliable, comfortable, highly resaleable & durable car subject to that u get a good maintained car...u can get a good margalla with in 4 lakh Rupees..Dhoondany say to khuda bhee mil jata heay
Baleeno is a piece of ****..new technology with complete acessories but not reliable..old is gold brother..I have trusted Margalla for 17 years without any trouble,,,while brand new Baleeno becomes pain in *** after spending 5-6 lakh rupees even not lasting for 3 years in same hands...
Go for a good Margalla...forget Baleeno
