Dear All,
Here is my Toyota MR-S for sale. Its 02 model, imported and registered in 08 and i own it since 08. It's a fun car to drive, it drives like a go cart (because of the perfect body lay out) with looks of Porsche (Boxster) and maintenance of a Corolla. It has done 11000KMs in the last 5 years (currently it has 70K on the clock) and it is very well kept and well maintained. Its in perfectly fine condition and no work is required. All mechanical's and the engine is in perfect condition. I claim it to be among the best MR-s in Pakistan It has never been miss used or abused. The exterior and interior is in awesome condition and interior leather is is mint condition as it has been taken care a lot by me and it is still in brand new condition.
Toyota MRS is the most reliable sports car in the world with two seats, mid-engined and rear wheel drive. It is 1.8 liters(138HP)with 6 speed sequential manual transmission. SMT has no conventional H-pattern shift lever or a clutch pedal. One can shift gears by tapping the shift lever forward or backward or by pressing steering-wheel mounted buttons. Clutch engagement is automatic, and the car will automatically shift to neutral when stopping. The MR-S is a charming little two-seats, mid engine roadster. Of course, the MR-S is a little more forgiving than the race cars for which these automated manual transmissions were devised, but you get the picture. And in the interests of long and trouble-free operation, Toyota can argue that its SMT system will probably extend clutch life, being better able to match throttle inputs and clutch-engagement rates than many owners can.It is also pretty cool to be able to sit in slow-moving traffic and have the hydraulic leg do all the clutch work. As long, of course, as you remember to pop the console lever into neutral during long periods at idle. It is, after all, still a conventional diaphragm clutch, and its throw-out bearing will thank you for a little rest.
If there's a single aspect of Toyota's system that remains incomprehensible to us, it's the lack of a fully automatic feature. After all, Toyota's SMT mechanism requires an elaborate computerized control system to handle the delicate matter of coordinating clutch engagements and throttle inputs in a way that approaches a seamless flow of power. So how hard could it be to incorporate the same actions at predetermined speeds and throttle positions without the driver's say-so? It would be perfect when caught in heavy traffic, say, or when talking on a cell phone, or any time the driver would prefer not to have to think about pushing buttons.
