I personally owned a Liana, it is an amazingly cost-effective machine. You get Gli/city features in a car that is below their price (atleast before suzuki got cocky and introduced the silly vurv one, hiking prices up too much). If you can find a clean 08-09, I would say go for it, just make sure the fitted cng has not busted. The only issue I remember with Liana was tappet readjustments, however I think you can avoid those altogether with good maintenance. Also, I would advise you to get Lxi instead of the Rxi, the cost difference should not be much in the used market, but the added bonuses are nice. The shape is obviously lacking in grace, but if you want efficiency, shape should not matter much (And aerodynamics aren't really that relevant when comparing Pakistani family cars). Its reliable, gave good mileage (I think a tank of CNG lasted us a week or so, and I remember getting 11-12 kmpl even with careless driving). Thats all I have to say on the matter pertaining specifically to the Liana.
