    Default Charade Knocking

    Dear allz,
    My charade is kocking on petrol although timing is not advanced for CNG.It also knocks when speed near about 100KM/h.
    Can ayone guide me.

    Check your wheel allignment / balancing and foundation plz
    Moderators' attitude / role should be "live and let live", or, "post and let post", rather than "Close, Move and Delete the post"

    use fuel cleaner bottle eg: caltex and use octane mix for few days just to check

    Dear Abid and Levin, I have cheched balance of wheel, alignment, foundations and found ok. Once i used Hi. octane fuel but same result.

    well, then show it to a mechanic.. if in lhr. area,, i can help you find a mechanic.

    yaaar its simple...
    when a car is converted to cng... the timing is advanced...
    now when you run it on petrol it is bound to knock


    you cant get the best of both worlds.
    how about VG30-DETT in nissan pulsar n12...
