Bro I owned a G11 for 7 years and yes, the engine is powerful. I drove it on CNG upto Malam Jabba, but on the Motorway, a bigger engine would provide better mileage and take less stress.

put a HD engine in it, for a G11 shell it would require custom driveshafts - as the HD gear it wider and is suited for a G100 shell.

The original CB engine is good - only if your engines cylinder head is rebuilt properly - most lathe operators in pakistan screw up the head really bad - only a select few actually know how the mic the camshaft journals

Seems like U have had experience with CB's. U R absolutely right about the head, and the advice for HD is also good.

Toyota 2E 1.3 Ltr is a good choice for a swap as it has been done in G11's successfully.

Forget 2E :p its very expensive. 50K for this old engine.

I owned G11 for 1 year and as far as I know its not a good idea to swap 1.3 into G11. Go for G100 if you wanna swap 1.3.

The original engine rebuild it, Put electronic distributor and it will give you good enough power.

    50K for a 2E? OMG! That's ridiculously expensive.

Yeah, 4EFE is cheap its around 30 to 35 but 2E is expensive, reason the most desi mechanic prefer this engine over the EFI one. I asked that guy why its so expensive he went on that 4E ke koi prob aya tu koi hal nahi kar sakta lekin 2E sada aur zabardast engine hai :p

I was given this price one month ago in ahata mithu khan.
