    Default tyre query for charade..

i had 165 80 r13 tyres of civic lying around.. so i put 2 of them in the rear wheels of my 86 charade..
the recommended size of charade is 165 70 r13..
    i previously had 155 80 r13..

are these civic tyres going to cause problems?
the tyres are in the rear only.

the problem is not our govt... its the people..

if they are not touching ur fenders with full load ur good to go
but if front profile is 70, ur car is actually now higher from rear with 80 profile ones
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

Sir your tire is 1.3 inch big in diameter and 5.9% faster, that is too much for a small car.

    Stick to factory size.

well i drove around with those tyres..
like i said these tyres were lying around and dont have much tread left.. was getting 2000 per tyre for these.

body roll in tight corners is very reduced, overall grip is improved braking response is slightly better even though these tyres are quite old..
the problem is not our govt... its the people..
